Hopper shared with TPG a list of airlines participating in Travel Deal Tuesday promotions:

• Air New Zealand: Although New Zealand is currently closed to most U.S. travelers, there will be flight deals to Australian destinations like Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
• Fiji Airways: Look for promotional fares to Fiji from the West Coast of the U.S., including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Hawaii.
• Icelandair: Anticipate deals to Reykjavík-Keflavík, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, London, Paris, and more.
• Kenya Airways: Enjoy a 30% discount on base fares for select destinations with business and economy bookings.
• Singapore Airlines: Deals on Singapore Airlines will start at $549 to destinations including Japan, Thailand, the Maldives, and others.
• Etihad: Look for deals to locations such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the Maldives.
• Turkish Airlines: Select destinations served by Turkish Airlines will feature special offers.

Be aware that booking international trips currently involves a certain level of risk — some locations (like Israel) have rapidly closed their borders due to the emergence of the omicron variant, and we may see additional travel restrictions in the near future.

However, if you've been on the lookout for deals to any of the previously mentioned destinations or with airlines running promotions, it's worthwhile to check availability. If you do make a booking, be sure to include travel protections in case you need to cancel before your travel dates.

However, Hopper provided TPG with a sneak peek at the anticipated deals from New York City, and the projected prices didn’t impress me much:

• Venice, Italy — Starting at $715 round-trip, plus an additional $100 exclusive discount with Hopper
• Male, Maldives — Starting at $947 round-trip, plus an additional $100 exclusive discount with Hopper
• Santorini, Greece — Starting at $971 round-trip, plus an additional $100 exclusive discount with Hopper
• San Juan, Puerto Rico — Starting at $238 round-trip, plus an additional $50 exclusive discount with Hopper
• Hawaii Island, Hawaii — Starting at $503 round-trip, plus an additional $50 exclusive discount with Hopper
• Cancun, Mexico — Starting at $329 round-trip, plus an additional $35 exclusive discount with Hopper

While Hopper asserts that these prices are reduced by 5% (Puerto Rico) to 31% (Cancun) compared to 2019 prices for this season, you might still discover better deals if you're patient and flexible with your travel plans.

For instance, we previously found flight deals to Greece for $300 and round-trip flights to the Maldives at half price last September. Just recently, we spotted round-trip flights to Hawaii for under $200.
