Picture yourself flying from Tokyo to Paris in first-class luxury, enjoying a gourmet dinner and a virtual tour of the city – all from the comfort of your seat.
This isn't a futuristic dream – it's the reality of air travel, brought to you by First Airlines, a Japanese company that uses virtual reality to craft immersive travel experiences.
Forget about expensive airport transfers, baggage fees, and crowded terminals. Enjoy the luxury of first-class service and a virtual tour of Paris, all while staying grounded in Tokyo.
In addition to Paris, First Airlines offers virtual journeys to iconic destinations like New York, Rome, and Hawaii.
The onboard experience

"Travel can be tough due to the costs—both time and money," says Hirokai Abe, manager of First Airlines, in an interview with Dinogo Travel.
"I thought it would be amazing if I could easily access an airport and take a flight, even if it's virtual," he adds.

After boarding, passengers can relax in their high-tech Airbus seat, enjoying a two-hour flight surrounded by decor that closely resembles a real aircraft cabin, ensuring an immersive experience.
"Each destination comes with its own flight service, virtual reality, food, and music," explains Abe.
Guests will enjoy a flavorful meal served by flight attendants, along with drinks and light snacks throughout the journey.
The menu changes based on the destination – enjoy Manhattan clam chowder and cheesecake for New York, or savor salmon tartar and onion soup for Paris.
Upon "arrival," guests can take a virtual 360-degree tour of their destination, made possible through projection mapping and video technology.
A hassle-free getaway

It offers a stress-free vacation experience, ideal for those whose ability to travel internationally is limited by financial or health constraints.
Virtual reality is increasingly shaping the travel industry, enabling people to explore the world's wonders without ever leaving home.
Tokyo residents interested in experiencing First Airlines can book a trip via the website, with reservations currently open through April 2018.
