Plus, find out which Marvel hero will be featured on the ship’s stern. (Hint: My 'Spidey sense' is definitely tingling.)

From the moment guests step aboard the Disney Destiny, they'll feel transported to the fictional kingdom of Wakanda, home to King T'Challa (the Black Panther) and the rare, powerful metal vibranium.
Taking inspiration from the films, the Grand Hall atrium—where passengers first enter the ship—features towering pillars embellished with intricate metal designs reminiscent of Wakanda's famous armor and layered jewelry.
Above, vibrant lighting effects emanate from a vibranium-inspired fixture, with a majestic Black Panther statue standing proudly at the center.
The cruise line presents the Grand Hall as a 'living theater,' where passengers can engage with a range of live heroes and villains during each voyage.
Nearby, Saga — a two-deck entertainment space inspired by Wakanda — will serve as a family-friendly activity center by day, and transform into an exclusive adults-only venue after dark.
A Doctor Strange-themed lounge
The Sanctum, a newly introduced lounge themed around Doctor Strange, immerses guests in the world of magic and mystical relics. A circular mirror behind the bar evokes Doctor Strange's New York Sanctum, and visitors can expect plenty of magical surprises.
In addition to hosting various activities throughout the cruise, this central lounge will also offer a selection of alcoholic drinks and coffee for guests to enjoy.
An Iron Man-inspired Tower Suite

When Disney decided to repurpose one of the smokestacks on the Disney Wish — the first of the Wish Class ships, which also includes Disney Destiny and Disney Treasure — into a luxurious suite, fans were immediately captivated. Each Wish Class ship features only one of these lavish suites, each with a unique theme, making them incredibly exclusive — and highly expensive.
The Destiny Tower Suite is themed after Iron Man, with design elements inspired by Tony Stark’s sleek, industrial style. Located within the ship’s forward funnel, this exceptional suite offers breathtaking views through a two-story window and spans nearly 2,000 square feet, providing accommodations for up to eight guests.
Mechanical and armor-inspired touches blend with softer, more inviting design elements. The suite includes separate areas for dining, sleeping, and entertainment, along with high-end amenities like a full kitchen and a private elevator. Suite guests also enjoy exclusive access to a private concierge lounge and pool, reserved just for them.
Spider-Man graces the stern

No Disney cruise ship is complete without a signature character on its aft, and for Disney Destiny, that honor goes to Spider-Man — the first Marvel character to be chosen for this special role.
This impressive sculpture will feature Spider-Man alongside his Spider-Bots. One of the bots is humorously attempting to add some decoration to the ship’s back, while the others prepare for a beach getaway.
Beloved Marvel characters return

Popular Marvel experiences from sister ships Disney Wish and Disney Treasure will be returning aboard Disney Destiny.
The Worlds of Marvel restaurant will feature the 'Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix,' debuting on Disney Treasure in late 2024. During dinner, Groot will host a special birthday party for his friend, Rocket Raccoon, both stars from 'Guardians of the Galaxy.' Expect lively music and fun trivia. (Due to its extended itineraries, Disney Treasure will alternate between the Groot event and the 'Quantum Encounter' dinner experience, which is exclusive to Disney Wish.)
Marvel Super Hero Academy will return to the Oceaneer Club, offering young guests aged 3 to 10 the chance to train with live Avengers characters and learn the ways of a superhero.
Earlier reveals

On Tuesday, Disney Cruise Line unveiled details about themed venues and cabins inspired by iconic heroes from 'Fantasia,' 'The Incredibles,' and 'Hercules.' The line also revealed that Disney Destiny will feature a 'Lion King'-themed dining experience called 'Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King.'
Wednesday’s reveal gave a deeper look at the villain-themed areas, including a piano lounge inspired by Cruella de Vil, a pub called Cask and Cannon that pays tribute to 'Pirates of the Caribbean,' and the Haunted Mansion Parlor, a spooky nod to the beloved Haunted Mansion ride at Disney parks.
In addition, new villain meet-and-greets and character appearances were announced, featuring characters like Maleficent, Hades, Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Oogie Boogie, Captain Jack Sparrow, Bruno, and Loki, along with activities such as interrupted trivia and dance parties.
Starting in late 2025, the 2,508-passenger Disney Destiny is set to sail from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, marking the first time a new Disney cruise ship will depart from a home port other than Disney's main hub at Port Canaveral, near Orlando. Specific itinerary details have yet to be announced.
