Why a Cruise is the Perfect Getaway for Newlyweds

Selecting a vacation as a newlywed couple can be challenging, and we understand that. You need to agree on a destination, itinerary, accommodations, duration, attractions... the list goes on! Each of us has different ideas about what a vacation should entail, and many of you can probably relate! This brings us to the charm and convenience of cruising… everything is taken care of for you! In Jamaica, we took an aerial tram to the summit of a towering mountain! The views of Jamaica were absolutely breathtaking, and we encountered some of the most stunning plants, trees, and wildlife we’ve ever seen! There were spiders. HUGE spiders. But we’ll spare you those photos.

We also went bobsledding! Bobby was thrilled since he’s a longtime fan of the movie Cool Runnings. Alli was excited because she could say she’d “Bobsledded with Bob.”

In Grand Cayman, we enjoyed a Catamaran tour around the island and were amazed by how warm and blue the water was!

In Cozumel, we rented a Jeep and set out to explore the island!

We stumbled upon gorgeous beaches, enjoyed coconut water while lounging on the sand, and explored authentic Mayan ruins. We even made a new friend!

We were astonished by everything you can experience in just ONE day at each destination. Newlyweds looking to unwind on their cruise have alternative options as well. There are excursions for private island escapes, beach clubs, and rejuvenating massages. Maybe on our next trip, we’ll take it a bit easier! 😉

3. Lastly, cruising is incredibly romantic. It feels like there are endless opportunities for romance around every corner!

Whether we were indulging in a candlelit dinner at Cucina del Capitano (one of the specialty restaurants on the Dinogo Breeze – it’s intimate, dimly lit, and absolutely mouthwatering!),

Or enjoying a leisurely evening walk along the serene and beautifully lit Lido Deck,

Or snuggled up together watching a show that could rival Broadway, it felt like we were living in a fairytale!
