Unacceptable Hygiene Standards at Baan boa Resort in Patong, Phuket, ThailandWhile the staff at Baan Boa Resort in Patong were generally friendly, the cleanliness and hygiene standards were absolutely unacceptable. I witnessed some of the most shocking cleaning practices I've ever encountered in a hotel.Cleaning:- Our used towels were repurposed as cleaning rags- The same towel was used to clean both the toilet bowl and sink without any disinfection in between- No proper cleaning products or disinfectants were ever used- Coffee cups were only rinsed with water, not washed with soap- The same cloth used to wipe tables was used to dry "cleaned" cups and Kitchenware in generalRoom Condition:- A strong, persistent mold odor due to high humidity permeated our room- This smell caused nausea and severe headaches- Cockroaches were found in our room's bathtub daily - absolutely disgusting!- In the last days of the vacation, we decided to stop having the room cleaned and only have the bed made, as it didn't make any difference anyway.Food & Service:- Breakfast was repetitive with little variety- My wife had to argue with a staff member just to get sugar packets, despite them being clearly visible behind the counter- The staff member raised his voice at my wife, which is completely unacceptableHealth Consequences:- Both my wife and I suffered from nausea and diarrhea during our stay (I don't think it's because of the resort's food), likely due to the poor hygiene practices.In conclusion, this resort desperately needs to review and improve its hygiene protocols. The current practices are not just subpar, they're potentially dangerous to guests' health. The presence of cockroaches in the room is particularly alarming. I wanted to check with other guests at the Resort if they also had problems. Nobody was happy with the hygiene, and several had intestinal issues. I strongly advise against staying at the Baan boa Resort until significant improvements are made in cleanliness, pest control, and staff training.

The hotel has maintenance work that is often annoying during the day, the beds are scratchy, and the room cannot accommodate a maximum of three people. Wi-Fi is free and the breakfast is very bad, but the price is cheap. My rating for it is good for its price, and there is 7 Eleven nearby, walk to it.

Great place to stay if you want to check out Patong however warning no elevators only stairs so will need to climb if you situated in 3rd floor will mean 48 steep stairs other than that great value for money, breakfasts a little monotonous after a few days as no real variety besides plenty of starches other than that menu food and ordering pizzas were amazing staff are really friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable

Good but aging hotel. Do not expect luxury, as it looks much better on the pictures but still good and wide rooms.Swimming pool was amazing.Breakfast buffet was rather low on quality. Not worth it if you expect quality food.They somehow had no cold water in the evening, I guess they used tanks and water supply was short due to heatwave and some kind of shortage.Aircon was very unpleasant and made us sick.No elevator and stairs were steep and felt dangerous.Location was great. Close to Pattong but not suffering of being too central which would come with many downsides.The staff was super professional and nice and helpful. I would give them six stars to all of them. Not a single wrong thing about them.

The rooms are very clean. The employees are incredibly attentive and helpful. Moreover; They are all smiling. Location is great. Close to the beach. I think the size of the pool is quite sufficient. If I go again, I'm sure I'll stay here.

Quiet hotel but close to the beach and the center you can do everything on foot. Very good location.The swimming pool is very clean and pleasant. The staff are friendly and helpful. 3 very relaxing nights in Patong

A lovely place, however I was up a few flights of stairs, although i had help with my luggage on arrival, i struggled getting my luggage back down the stairs

Service is a foreign word for all employees. We save on toilet paper and water bottles. I needed a roll of toilet paper and asked at reception but was treated very rudely. People tried to brush me off and put me off. I had to wait until the room was cleaned.Breakfast is rather mediocre with little choice. Room on the 4th floor but no elevator. The poolside rooms on the ground floor seem cool at first, but they have no privacy.Of course, it doesn't cost much and you can't have too high expectations. Phuket doesn't have much to do with the land of smiles anyway. It's dirty and full of tourists.

Lovely people and a good location. Close to the sea, Bangla Road, etc. and many attractions to arrange. Also many places to do your laundry. The beds were a bit hard, the breakfast was very average, and the shower was mediocre. Swimming pool was nice, especially after an "excursion"

Room was very spacious and clean. Our room had ocean view and was near to road but still there was no noise and we could sleep peacefully. There's separate pool for kids too and both of them were so clean. Food was excellent and all the staffs were very kind and friendly.
