I never actually stayed in this hostel, I stayed in the one next door 'let it bee hostel'. But one night during my stay in Koh Lanta in 2016 I used the atm next door to either hostel, grabbed my cash and went on my merry way. The next day I went to the reception of The Metallic asking what there was to do in Koh Lanta. The person on reception - Sun, rather then answering my question, he quoted my name and the bank I used. Errr yes that's correct I responded. To cut a long story short, I left my bank card in the atm machine over night without realising, and it was picked up by Sun. THANK YOU SUN!!!! Also Sun helped my friends and I rent a self drive tuk tuk for the day, all legit. Excellent service, next time I'll actually stay at The Metallic.

Sun and Mooi took really good care of us the week we stayed here. Really clean hotel and would recommend to anyone who is travelling koh lanta as it is pretty central and not expensive at all to stay here.

Great place to stay. Very modern and good looking roms. Nice beds and very clean hostel. I had a private room and it was much nicer then other 3 star rooms I had in SE Asia. The staff are super friendly and very helpful with everything you will need. The prize is very fair and gives good value for the money. I will book this again if I come back

It was a good private room. Showers were warm but I wouldn't say hot. Not super social, close to the beach and generally good location on the main road. Reasonable value unsure if lack of atmosphere was due to it being low season but reasonable accomodations for the price.
