Actually a very nice place. Those in charge of the rentals are from Sweden so it was easy to reason with them and find a place to live that suits your needs. We tried the houses and the apartments which are all privately owned, and all of them looked nice. There were some small issues with quality. Specially problem with the electric wiring etc. If you have kids you should check everything around the house so there are no loose wires etc. In the middle among the apartments and the houses there is a big pool. All the houses though have their own pool. Unfortunately the big pool was extremely dirty (see pics). The reason was probably something with the pool pumps or similar because they put temporary pumps everywhere. So I assume it will be fixed soon. There is a restaurant and lobby next to the pool. The breakfast was great and I recommend it. We also tried to eat lunch and I tried the Swedish Meatballs. Well I'm from Sweden so I know how they should taste and this was nothing near it. The meatballs was made of only beef which is wrong. They where very dry and did not taste good. Same thing with the mashed potatoes, no seasoning and extremely dry. So that is a a clear 2-stars there. Besides that they were very serviceminded and very accomodating. It's s great place for a family. The beach is very close and it's close to the restaurants by the road. All in all I would recommend it if they fix the pool.

We spent a little over 2 weeks on Koh Lanta over Christmas and New Years and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.We stayed in an apartment with direct access to the pool and it was wonderful. The beach directly below the accommodation was rocky, but it took about 2-3 minutes to get to the fine sandy beach at the bottom of Long Beach.We didn't have to walk more than 15 minutes at any time to reach everything we needed. This applies to everything from the 7th grader to breakfast restaurants, pharmacies, massages, hairdressers and all types of restaurants.If (when) we go back to Thailand, I have a hard time seeing us choosing any other destination than Koh Lanta and Sai Naam

I stayed in a villa on the same area, but the food here is pretty good! We never tried the pool but it looks amazing. I hear it was just renovated too.|Unfortunately there's a disgusting smell coming from the area around the restaurant and made us not return.

It should be emphasized that the apartment has direct access to the pool. A highlight.Otherwise the equipment is solid. A little old. No luxury. Simple standard. It's a shame that you have to pay separately for A/C or electricity and water depending on your own consumption. The meter is recorded when you check in and again when you check out, so that the exact consumption is determined. It would be desirable if this were included in the price. For 6 nights we paid 800 baht for electricity and water. We only ever had the air conditioning on when we were at home and only in the living room.The bedroom only has a blind. The room cannot therefore be completely darkened. A curtain would have been desirable. We did it ourselves and hung bed linen over the blinds, so it got better.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was great, a 1 minute walk from the beach, the staff was very friendly, the communication was fast, the transport service was on-time and convenient, and the food served on site looked delicious (although I didn't have any during our stay). I did have a few issues with it though. First, the place had a very funky smell when we checked in that smelled like rotting food mixed with just a general musty odor. Also, one of the bathroom toilets didn't work for the first day and we had to have someone come repair it. Neither was a huge issue, but worth mentioning. The most frustrating thing was that we weren't made aware when we booked that there would be extra charges for gas and electric usage upon checkout. They give you a limit you can't go over, and if you do you have to pay for the excess. We were basically only there to sleep and still went over, so you will too. Luckily it wasn't much, maybe $15 we had to pay, but if you're spending more time or more days in the unit just be aware that you'll likely have a good sized bill due when you check out. I wish this was told to us before we booked. All in all, it's a decent spot to stay during your time in Lanta.

Rooms are nice and spacious, pool is well-kept. However, majority of staff who interact with guests are not particularly friendly or welcoming. Besides attitude, basic aspects of hotel and restaurant management could be trained and improved.

Stayed in the penthouse. It’s a bit older and worse for the wear so don’t expect anything luxury. Better suited for longer stays I would think rather than a vacation splurge. Full kitchen (although there was a lingering smell we couldn't get to the bottom of) and great views! Staff is very nice and helpful! The security guards helped save the day when I lost a cell phone in a taxi. Close to a rocky beach but the front desk can arrange tours, taxis etc. The pool is massive and open 24 hours which is lovely. Be aware of the charge/deposit for electricity and water...unlike most other hotels/vacation rentals, you have to pay for your usage.The penthouse was large and the patio was lovely but the rooms could use updating.

Booked to stay for a week with the intention of staying longer.Got a 3 room pool suite. All very nice. A little more faded than the photos, but all very nice. Not dirty, just a little sticky in places.Unfortunately after the first hour we noticed a horrendous smell coming from under the sink. Asked reception and the owner and they came to have a look and said the problem should disappear.It didn't.The smell was coming from a grease trap filter. I manually emptied and refilled several times to clear dirty stagnant water, but to no avail. Smells like raw sewage and s**t persisted the whole week.Staff polite, but a little cold. The owner was quick to respond and offered sympathy, but little else. No other rooms large enough were available.Seen other comments since where people mention the smell .I guess it's something they were aware of but unable / willing to pay to fix.A shame, otherwise would have been perfect for our winter months hideaway.Beach 2 min walk, a little stony but only for a few metres then clear sand.Lots of nice stuff to see and do around, and lots of coffee shops, and restaurants nearby.I would recommend anyone stay, as long as they aren't staying in Room 106G

Bad experience after a 3 night stay:- several problems in the apartment, some of which were not resolved before our departure: dirty floors and doors, you have to wait about 1 minute before hot water arrives in the showers (the first 2 days we thought that there was no hot water), very bad smell (urinated?) from the sofa, a clogged bathroom sink, foul smell under the kitchen sink.The rooms are certainly spacious and well appointed, but their condition and the quality of the service do not make you want to stay there.- upon arrival, you must deposit a guarantee of 2000 baht- electricity is charged extra (we had to pay 300 baht for a 3-night stay while being present at the apartment only for the nights, and without using the kitchen)- the buildings deserve a good lick of paint, there is a difference with the photos.- the staff is not unpleasant but quite cold, and takes care of reporting problems to their boss, from whom I am still waiting to hear back...- the "beach" located 100m away is 95% made up of large rocks, and the tide is often very high and does not allow you to get there, so I would not call it a beachFortunately we had a car to spend our stay in other places on the island.We stayed in 5 different places in Thailand (Phuket, Krabi, etc...), this one was twice as expensive, and the only one where we were disappointed and didn't feel comfortable.
