The location was great, because it was only a 100m to the sea (you can’t really swim in it, there are a lot of rocks) and also very close to a 7/11 Store. The owner picked us up from the pier, and they were generally really nice. The bamboo hut was okay, regarding its price. The bathroom was not the cleanest but for 2 nights bearable. Because it is a bamboo hut, there were no dense walls which was very inviting to several insects, but you get a mosquito net (sometimes with wholes)If you don’t mind them, you will have an authentic stay in Ko Lanta!

Old cabins that have not been repaired, they have only put wood over the holes. You walk and it seems like the place is going to fall. It is very dirty, the sheets smelled of sweat and had sand, the mosquito nets smell like food and have holes. They haven't changed them. The beds are in very poor condition, the springs feel in your back. The place is next to a human waste and garbage deposit, that's why there are so many cockroaches (especially in the cabins on the left side) it has nothing to do with the countryside. The staff doesn't seem to care. We stayed here only for one night and we regretted it. I do not recommend it.

Everything you need is here!Beach is a 2 minute walk around the corner. Hut has mosquito next above all beds, own toilet and shower per hut. A fan. Plenty of plug sockets and lights. Hammocked terrace with chairs and table. Quality and affordable. Best of all there is plentiful bikes available at 200bart and the host of Lanta Local Hut can organise transport and activities pretty much for anything! Beaches either side 40 minute walk either way.We extended our stay :)

The place is very well located in the city. The hotel is as you would expect from a hut, the shower is large (just no hot water). Small hammock in front which is super nice. We were able to rent a scooter. The man is super helpful, however if you manage to get a smile from the woman who runs the hotel, tell me in the comment. Personally we didn’t really succeed…

Small bamboo cottages with toilet and bathing facilities. The staff/owners are incredibly helpful, kind, and honest. They don't promise more than they deliver, and I think the price and quality are reasonably correlated, although perhaps a bit expensive, especially since we visited during peak season. It's affordable and clean given the conditions, but one must be okay with holey mosquito nets and various critters. We had visits from cockroaches, spiders, beetles, and even found a snake skin. Bring mosquito spray. If you can tolerate being close to nature without luxuries like a water heater, air conditioning, and a pool, it's a decent and authentic accommodation. The location is good and close to the beach with plenty of dining options, etc.
