Definitely going back again. Every staff there are so friendly and nice. Room is clean too!Love that a resident stray cat kept coming To my room To look for Me. (Missed her so much) can anyone tell Me that she has a Caretaker?Cons - no water boiler jug and iron and hairdryer in room.PS: ignore the Israeli 1 star review Its bullcrap. (If you want a good hotel go book a 5 star hotel)

Loved it here! Perfect location and right on the beach. The owner is great and the man who runs the place ( Dom) goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay. I HIGHLY recommend the Scandinavian Beach Resort !!

We had confirmed booking via Agoda and arrived 15:30 on Sunday afternoon. No one knew anything about our booking and after waiting an hour we were told that all the rooms are booked and they don’t have a room for us - and asked us to go to another low class resort, that we wouldn’t ever pick but now didn’t have much options left.

Super easy check-in, 100 m to the beach, small facility & super nice staff! For a few days or longer, we can recommend! Everyone should be aware that they are in Thailand and that an insect might get lost. The standard of accommodation is good and really fits the price. You also don't hear anything about the bars on the beach like you might with other accommodations. We would book again.

We loved it here!The bar man, chef and Dom are all super professional and fun, they will make your stay special :)We had a double room. It was basic but clean and had loads of shelving / hanging space which was a nice suprise! The shower had good pressure and the bed was comfy. Air con was super super cold which is great!! Only thing we would have liked would be a fridge, but the slightly more expensive rooms do have this if anyone else likes a fridge too.The rooms have a little terrace overlooking the path down to the beach where you get a great view of the sunset.The bar and restaurant are on the beach, again great views and amazing service from the staff here. We drank here a lot and it was reasonable prices. We ate here once and the food was great. Comfort food vibes which is perfect after travelling for a while.We would definitely come back here again! :)

Attention: Bungalows are rented even though the resort is not ready for the season. Beach bar/restaurant was not open even though it was advertised as such. No response from the owner to our message to him about this. We couldn't expect to get any money back because the booking couldn't be canceled free of charge. We asked about it anyway. If we had known what to expect: we wouldn't have booked. After one night we looked for something new.The good reviews are all from last season. The resort certainly has potential, but it is currently a construction site.If you look around further on the same beach, you will find significantly better offers at a similar price.

The staff is very nice and helpful. The bed is very comftrable, above the average bed in Thailand in my experience. The hotel is very close to the beach and in central location. However, the beach is so full of rocks we were not able to enter it even once, so we were disappointed. You need to walk about 15 min to find a beach with less rocks.

Beautiful location, the resort is still new and the facilities are basic but comfortable. However the manager Dominic and his staff are incredibly welcoming. If we needed something Dominic had a solution and his cat Aragon is amazing!

Very good location, right up the street from the next 7 Eleven and at the resort the beach with beautiful sunsets!The bungalows are well equipped, not “luxurious” if anyone wants that, but clean, very comfortable and practical! We enjoyed our stay.The manager, Dominik, always gave us a good feeling and was always approachable with all concerns.Thanks!

+ Dom (manager) is very friendly and helpful+ quiet location, perfect for relaxing+ 7-eleven and many beach bars & beach restaurants within walking distance+ nice facility, nice common area on the beach+ Enough sun and shade spots on seat cushions, deck chairs and hammocks+ we felt very comfortable± Hand soap was available, shampoo was not- There was no storage area for wet bathing clothes, for example (we were able to help us with the terrace furniture)

Super nice hotel manager. Super relaxed and takes great care of his guests. Half of the rooms are completely new (built in early 2023). It is very clean and the area on the beach is great for relaxing.There is a 7eleven right on the street and many good restaurants within walking distance.Can simply recommend it. The beach is very spacious and at low tide you can still easily go into the water at the Freedom Bar. I had a good time. So thank you :)

I can highly recommend the Scandinavian Beach Resort and can only report positive things. The manager Dom and his team take excellent care of the guests. It's just a relaxing environment, the rooms are clean, the WiFi works and it's lovely to sit by the sea. The on-site restaurant offers good food, ice cream and drinks.We were able to help with all questions (roller rental, transfer...). Extending your stay and a late check out were also no problem.I think it's a shame that this new resort is still relatively unknown and I hope my reviews help it become better known.Thank you again for the lovely stay on Koh Lanta!
