We booked for 6 nights unfortunately upon arrival we were informed that our bungalow was not available the first night.We were relocated to the Klong Khong Garden: an establishment that seemed closed, without hot water, tiny room, noisy air conditioning, unmaintained exteriors... HORRIBLE NIGHTBack at Lanta Salamat House the next day, we informed the manager, Amina, who pretended to be surprised by our remarks and who did not take our dissatisfaction into account. No action on his part or any compensation...The Lanta Salamat House is of average comfort (spartan layout, strong smell of sewage in the bathroom), too expensive for the service (no visible staff and no cleaning of the room during the 5 nights), poorly maintained (plastics, broken glass, dry trees and trash cans at the bottom of the garden).some positive points: quiet environment, room with large terrace, well located for quick access to the whole island, access in 5 minutes on foot to beach bars and restaurants at the bottom of the garden

Nice room with terrace with some greenery around. Nice and quiet. Even if nothing was taken care of.Overall it was too expensive, after we moved in we couldn't find any staff and we had to dispose of the rubbish ourselves.Taxis and tuk-tuks near the entrance are scared away, even if they want to pick up guests. Missed such a trip.

We stayed there almost a week-January 2023. It was a great experience. Very near to beach and large rooms with a garden and terrace front. Definitely perfect for long term stay. Owners are really friendly. You can also rent a motorbike from there. Only problem is mosquitos. There were some holes in the rooms around toilet and kitchen so they can come in somehow. Better to sprey before you sleep. Totally recommended!

Lovely host family care taking this property. The owner was out of town and his sister was the one taking care of the property while we were staying here and she was nothing short of amazing! Very clean and comfortable rooms with everything you need! Great price for a nights stay and so close to everything you’ll need (atm, scooters and laundry). Only a few steps away from beach and beach bars!

Lived here for 3 nights. It’s a really calm little area. The rooms have what is needed; fridge, boiler and hot water in the shower. Also a lot of storage possibilities. They’ve done a lot to have clean nice rooms. It’s a little further from the beach than we had expected. We had many many mosquitoes in our room and they kept coming as there are small ventilation wholes. But only in one of the rooms. It was really annoying.

There were 3 of us, we took room 6 & 7 which on the upper floor. Price is cheap. We love it as we have the whole balcony to ourselves. The keeper is a nice guy, he would answer to all of your inquiries. …
