A calm escape from city life with beautiful views, friendly staff. The view from the dining area absorbed me for a good 15-20 minutes.||||Pretty sure this is my new favourite spot in Thailand. ||||Definitely worth hiring a bike as the road here is a great ride too

Nice quiet getaway within 1 hour of Chiang Mai. Many different room styles for all types of travelers. Great views, lovely gardens and a campfire. Close to waterfalls, elephant camp, and small restaurants with brilliant views.Make sure to bring some transportation as it's a bit of a requirement in the area.

Booked and stayed here for a big group of 14, we were given 4 houses/chalet to sleep in. I must say they are varying degree of design, 2 of them are very authentic thai home, while the other 2 are recent add on, plain but decent.Upon reaching, you need to call the caretaker (we book thru airbnb called 4 charming cabins in the mountain) and they will cater to your needs, water, breakfast etc. The main hall has rooms upstairs and below is a big dinning area. The other cabins are scattered around which is about 30 to 50 meters away, not suitable for old folks with walking problem.The place can accomodate 5 vehicles at least, cold at night but the bed is comfy. hot water not consistent but bearable.All in all, if you are looking to stay at a local traditional house, this is a good place for more than 10 person. If you want luxurious amenities, go for proper hotels by all means.Our breakfast was fried rice and porridge, so if you are not used to these, please order from the care taker or prepare your own food at the kitchen.There are 2 entrance to this place, nearest one google map brings you (coming from chiang mai city) will be more dangerous and narrow, you will pass by an american school, the others are better road, drive further along before you turn in.A few good restaurants at economical price around, please go try them out, will put in review here.

Very bad. It's a pity that the money booked through Agoda was deducted. I paid 2,600 for free, which is not like the picture at all. The room was stuffy, smelled, not clean, couldn't sleep, felt very bad.
