Accommodation in Choak. There are many sewers on the road right in front, but the first floor is always open, so large cockroaches that come out of the sewers are roaming around. It was also found in a guest room, and the trash can was turned over and locked away. The room had an old smell and the door didn't lock properly. The hot water doesn't come out well and the water pressure is very low.

The only positive thing about this hotel was the location. The room was an imposition. It was moldy, the room and especially the bathroom were dirty, it smelled very musty, the air conditioning and exhaust fans in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned for some time, the room door couldn't be locked and it was very dark. A crime for the price. Something like that shouldn't be legal...

Looks a little run down on approach but the rooms are big and comfortable, owners and staff very friendly. Definitely best place to fit a budget holiday.

Definitely do not pay through Booking and go to this hotel, you will be wasting your money. The streets are cleaner than the rooms, you can be sure. This is not a place suitable for sane people. Towels and slippers are suitable even for stray dogs, it is not clean and it is a disgusting place...

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. I found it initially on booking. It has a vintage darkwood timber appearance in the rooms and hallway.I had the best sleeps as the mattress was so good. There is an area to sit and socialize downstairs at the entrance and I was able to chat with people if I wanted.It's also beside a market and easy to go and grab some food. Also no traffic or loud noise making it peaceful.I will be back here in the future.

It’s just ok if you need a place to stay for the night. Very old run down place. So dark and dungeon. Everything just old even the bed and pillow.Location is the only good about the place for sure if you want to stay in Silom area.It’s cheap but I don’t think it’s worth the price even.Won’t stay here again for sure.

Small family run hotel/ homestay right in the heart of Silom, literally seconds from one of our favourite ever hidden Bangkok street markets!They’ve just installed brand new coin operated washer/ dryer units also so you can save a trip to the local (or not so local) laundries for pennies.Free coffee, tea, sugar & creamer in reception each morning along with toaster facilities.Large fridge and tv in room, air con great! However the only negatives are that the WiFi drops out and the shower pressure os terrible!Really lovely family, always smiling and helpful, like an oasis in the big city!

This place was a NIGHTMARE from a second I put my foot in. After a long flight I just wanted to lay down. The woman doing reception shouted at me because I asked to see the room before paying (I travel a lot, I know rooms are not always like the pictures) she was like “you make me walk, I’m tired, why you make me walk” I’m sorry but it’s literally your job why are you guilt tripping me? By the time we came back downstairs I decided I didn’t feel comfortable with that attitude and decided to cancel my reservation. She was being so shady, not giving me answers to waive the cancellation fee, it was such an ordeal. Imagine working in costumer service and talking like that to your client. I left shaking. They don’t deserve any money. I took this video because I didn’t trust them in not charging me so I had proof, but you can have a glimpse of the attitude. Honestly this video is nothing and I’m such an easy going person I’ve been travelling around the world for years I don’t care about much but that was shocking
