240 baht for fan room, western toilet, cold shower, clean but runned down and needs fixing and updating. Lovely cheerful, helpful, and kind staff.Not far from the new centre, this area used to be by the central bus station (now closed), the new bus station is located at the south end of town.I stayed here 9 years ago for one night and saved the location and returned.

It is an old wooden hotel in the middle of Khon Kaen city, the only one remaining in the city center. Convenient, cheap and extremely economical. It is worth preserving and registering for future generations to see and study. Try staying in this style of wooden hotel and you will appreciate its atmosphere...try it! If you don't try you won't know.Give it 4.5 stars out of 5 stars.

It's on the city bus and songthaew lines, and there are restaurants open in the morning, Seven and Amazon stores, and cafes, live bars, and restaurants open until night.The location is very convenient, and there's also a fan room. It has a cold shower and toilet, and is also connected to WIFI.Now, if it's a 220B, you won't have any complaints even if it's worn out. Usually. (Same type with TV is 280B)However, the heat in the room is unbearable.I stayed on the second floor of a two-story building, facing east and south, and it was so hot even at night that I couldn't get tired (lol).Even if it's a bit dark, if you're on the first floor, on the north side, or in a room with no outside windows, that problem may be solved.

Here even if the staff is all smiles, they do not speak English. The hotel is in an old wooden house (everything is made of wood). It could be charming but it hasn't been maintained for centuries. …

We arrived at Bus Terminal 3 early in the morning before it got light. Take the city bus and get off in front of the hotel. It's still dark. Go to bed right away. Therefore, it feels like staying for two nights for the price of one night. Single fan 220 baht. It's a very old building, so it's interesting to see what the hotel looked like in the past. The next morning I see a very pretty girl sitting at the reception desk.

I awarded 4stars as this is the ideal place for my needs. Somewhere to park my bag and go straight back out. It would be classed as 1 star possibly 2 on official lists but I am reflecting on my review. Basic everything in an old style hotel. Great location with the Roma hotel across the road offering all your needs including live music. Not for the demanding tratveler but more in line with a backpackers ideal hostel. Cheapest in Khon Kaen
