For the price, Grand Business is a great for convenience and location. It's in the heart of Bangkok with easy access to taxis, restaurants, and nightlife. The on-site restaurant is 24 hours and will deliver to your room. The staff are also friendly. I've stayed several times.

There was a person at the front desk who could speak Japanese. The service was also good. I got the impression that there were a little more Japanese users. The location is good with restaurants and bars nearby, but it's close to the main road, so you can't sleep at night due to the loud noise of music and mufflers. Earplugs are required. The price is reasonable and I would like to use them again.

Stayed here many times staff are all great! Do book a room on a high floor as street noise is a real issue from lower floors

I booked 2 rooms about a week in advance for myself (a pregnant woman), a friend (another pregnant woman), and two teenagers we were supervising while in Thailand for an AFL tournament (the teenagers played in the tournament, and my friend and I had run water and helped coach our team all day long on Saturday). The tournament was in Pattaya, and upon its completion, the four of us travelled the 2.5 hours back to Bangkok in order to catch our flight the following morning. I had informed the hotel that we’d be arriving around 9 PM, and kept them updated on our travels; we reached the hotel at 9:30 PM. This is when we were informed that they’d overbooked the hotel, but had a room for us in their old building, did we want to check the room first? We were all sweaty, dirty, exhausted, sore, and heat stroked from the day, and considering the time, we weren’t going anywhere to search for another room. We told them we would take it. Big mistake. The rooms aren’t “older”, they’re ancient; the air con units did not work very well and couldn’t be adjusted; there was trash left in the room upon our arrival on the floor and up in a shelf, and the mattresses were the hardest and most uncomfortable I’d ever slept on in my life (and I lived and travelled throughout Southeast Asia for most of my 20s, I’ve stayed in some real holes). I was denied any refund in the morning upon my request. I feel absolutely terrible for the teenagers who’d played in 5-6 full tackle footy matches that day, and this is the worst I’ve felt during my pregnancy. Do NOT stay here.
