The BEST hostel experience for a laid back, relaxing, and comfortable stay. Golf, the owner, is so generous and was the highlight of our stay :) he took my friend and I on a little bike tour around to a different beach and had the best energy that made our time so so much fun. Highly recomend this hostel- for great vibes, chill plans, beautiful beaches- this is the spot!!

Incredible space and community. It is very convenient to Da Nang pier and to any amentity you may want (restaurant, grocery, snacks, bars, coffee, boba, smoothies, tattoo, haircut, motorbike rental, beaches..). While it is a bar, I didn't see any bargoers during my 5 day stay. Rather, hostel guests and the owner Golf and local friends and neighbors hang out It's jovial with pleasant music playing, cigarettes to smoke, beers to drink, seats to sit, books to read, people to chat with. Golf is charismatic and kind and generous. And his dog Bamboo is the sweetest. 4 showers, 3 toilets, and 2 sinks. AC during the night is cold. 5 baht water fill up next door (please do not constantly buy bottles from 7/11). Looking forward to returning 💫🐬⛱️🌊🐚🇹🇭

Beautiful little hostel, laid-back Charme, super nice terrace from where one can chill und see ppl come and pass.Room is super, good concept with little bunks, giving some privacy in a dorm situation. Sanitary facilities really good, three toilets and four showers for less than 10 ppl max.The interior design surely is extraordinary. Finally owner is super nice and helping with anything.

The location was great because it was so close to the dock! This is the second time we go to a place that we are building together with Golf Holi Bamboo.I like squid fishing, so I go fishing around 4 o'clock.Thank you for showing me so many great places to catch squid and eat sashimi together.

This place is simply magical ✨️ I love the vibes of the place, really peaceful and very comfortableThe location is great because it's only at 5 min walking from the main beachThe shared room is special and different from other places that I knewThe bathrooms are big and cleans and the prices are very accessibleThe owners, Oli and Golf are beatifull people! Always polite and gentil, I felt that I make new friends in Koh Samet Island!The hostel is a MUST GODefinitely worth it

Everything is the best!Part of the dormitory is like a window and lets in some light, so it's not completely dark. There are 4 bathrooms with showers so you won't be crowded. Simple and clean.The owner and staff are very friendly and have a good feel. We had a lot of fun talking about all sorts of things while drinking beer together at night. He loves fishing, and when he catches a fish, the owner seems to take care of it himself. If you're lucky, you might be able to have a sashimi party together lol.The location is also about 10 minutes from the pier. Close to 7-Eleven 3 Tenpo on the island. There are local food shops around. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the beach at sunset point, so you can go there without taking a songthaew.

Absolutely incredible. Don't hesitate to book this place. Wonderful clean facilities and showers, the bed is comfortable and clean and the location is superb, right in the middle of the restaurants and cafes and only a short stroll to the beach. What makes the place incredible are the owners however. Genuinely kind and wonderful individuals. One of them drove me to the opposite end of the island as I didn't have a motorbike and even showed me all the sunset view spots and some other beaches. The other looked after me in the middle of the night when I wasn't feeling too well and reassured me in the morning. I never write reviews but felt like I had to talk about this place. Felt very safe and looked after as a female solo traveler. Will come again.

Had a lovely stay here! It's close to everything, and you can hire a bike just across the road to explore the rest of the island. The owners were so lovely and offered a warm welcome. The rooms and facilities are kept very clean with your own locker and key to use. Will definitely come and stay again when I visit in the future. Thanks for having me 😊

A hidden gem.Sundaze hostel is ideally situated on one of the main roads leading to the beach and only a short walk from the peer.What makes this hostel outstanding is the warm hearted couple who own/run it, Gof and Holly. They are well connected in the community and help guests in so many ways (from recommending quieter hidden spots on the islands through to organising tours).The accommodation itself is great. Each bed has a plug socket and its own sliding door, which provides security and privacy.

Very clean, comfortable and with a convenient location but, more importantly, Golf and Hollie are just the best. If you stick with them, pretty soon you’ll know where all the best beaches, food, and cool people are on the island.

The owner, a little chubby dog called Bamboo, is very cute and protective. You'll feel safe when she is around! Her parents are amazing and sweet as well, always ready to give tips, advice and just overall nice people. The sleeping cabins are spacious, private, clean and super cute! The hot shower was a nice bonus.They also serve the best coffee in Thailand!! 🤍

Very relaxed and peaceful vibes here. Owners are lovely, very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, and because every cubicle has a sliding door, it's very private. No food/drinks here at the moment, but there are tons of cafes around, literally five steps away. The closest beach is a 7-10 minute walk. And very close to the pier.

Excellent location, cheap, and close to the ferry and the beach. Owner (Golf) is fun to hang around with and they have an adorable dog named Bamboo. I would recommend this place if you are on a budget.
