Elsie is the most wonderful host. The accommodations spacious and comfortable. The garden is lovely and surrounded by lush tropical plants. Great location for peace and relax with the beach a stones throw away. Highly recommend

Excellent experience.. provided an ideal retreat and great mentoring to develop painting skills… studio had everything you could want… and on top of painting/drawing there was superb food and a good ambience… the garden is lush with many birds and flowers…this was my second visit and it did not disappoint…

We stayed at Elsie's art retreat for two nights and we absolutely loved it! The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. Elsie was a warm, friendly & a kind host. She made sure we were well fed and that our stay was comfortable. The kids were entertained with art lessons that were offered, friendly dogs and they got to swim in the pool.

Beautiful home, wonderful hospitality, a library full of books and access to daily art lessons from the talented owner/host/artist herself.||Quiet and fun beach just a short walk away... lovely walking and biking trails a short drive away. Will definitely return and recommend !

I had the pleasure of staying with Elsie for 5 days and it exceeded my expectations by a long shot! The place is just as you see in the pictures if not better and the rooms are very comfortable and unkept. Her studio is beautiful and even she took me around town to plein air paining as well as showing me her favorite local spots to eat and hangout. The food is outstanding, Elsie and her family are so welcoming and inviting, and the art is beautiful. If you are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime retreat, I believe this would be it!

I stayed at Elsie place for 4 night all included (room + art class every morning).I have to say I had a great time!!Elsie is taking care of everything, amazing room, nice garden with swimming pool, great food and if you want you can add a art class every morning.The location is great, 8 min from the beach and 7/11 and in a quiet street.Elsie made me feel like I'm home - abd she take care about everything.I really recommend to come and enjoy this place 🙂

I had an amazing time! It’s super comfortable, relaxing, inspiring and a great place to have solitude or meet others. The home cooking was fantastic and Elsie is one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. Definitely going back and I would certainly recommend!!

Best place ever!! This art retreat is great, and Elsie, a very kind woman, is a great host for all of this. She has some friendly dogs, and the food she makes, as well as our this area is fantastic!!! Highly recommend

An absolute oasis in Rayong! Everything is top notch from the comfortable rooms, to the beautiful garden and pool. BBQ and breakfast were superb. Art lessons and creative spaces complete the stay. I cannot recommend Elsie's place highly enough!

Luxury it ain't being a 3* homely and basic place. Dated residence that needs freshening up, not so strong on hygeine. Would suit people wanting a cheap and casual experience. Not keen on dogs staying in the place. There are some great local artists in Thailand but Mrs Evans isn't one of them.
