Tropical Sunset Hotel

Superb price/value combination! You won't regret it a minute, if you are an active tourist who needs hotel specifically for lodging.All hotel premises are super clean at all the time: terrace, reception area, lift, halls. There is even daily room cleaning! Which is not usual for 2/3 star hotels. They change towels daily, provide 2 free bottles of water every day too. Once we left "do not disturbe" sign on the door, and found later those two bottles left for us next to our door. That was very thoughtful.Bathroom has some amenities, hot water 24/7. As all the rest it is sterile clean too, no signs of molds or whatsoever. There is only shower, no bathtub.Room is of an avarage size, but definitely enough fot two persons to stay comfortably. There is a small fridge, TV, safe, kettle, landlinr phone, air-con, free tea/coffee, free wi-fi. Bed is big and comfy. Bed linens are crystal white. The room itself is a non-smoking, but it is allowed to smoke on the balcony. Unfortunately our room had no view at all, as it was facing the next building at the distance of a reach of a hand. Right now it is uninhabited yet, so no inconveniences faced from the neighbours being right in front of you, but I believe once that building starts its operations, that will be an issue. I deducted one start because of this factor.Stuff is fantastically welcoming and pleasant. Always greeting you with a smile, trying to help out with all the questions. Check-in went quick and smooth. There are few motor bicycle parking spots in front.I liked the location of the hotel and would rate it with a high mark, though some reviews mentioned it as a downside. It's of 20 minutes walking to Patong beach and Bangla Road, even less if renting a motorbike. It's a bit off the main street, which makes nice and quiet ambience in the hotel terrace where you can sit with a morning coffee. There is supermarket right next to the hotel, as well as massage salons, motor bikes renting, restaurants. It'll take you 5 minutes to reach nearest bars.No breakfast offered in the hotel, but there is in-room menu from a restaurant close by. Reception will help you place an order and they'll deliver it right in the room.I would definitely come back here again once back to Phuket.

The structure, although with very old furnishings, is clean: cleaning is done every day, the staff is very welcoming and kind and puts you at ease: the location of the hotel is also very good, a stone's throw from the Rambla, given the price I recommend it to all those who come to go around and visit the island going to a different place every day, those who don't want to go around and prefer more relaxation, well on the coast you are spoiled for choice
