We had a great stay at this hotel. The setting is idyllic, in fact it is located on the edge of one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The rooms and bedding are comfortable and clean. A big thank you to Paalan who took great care of us throughout our stay. I recommend this place which is a real corner of paradise

beautiful, well-kept facility with wonderful owners and staff.We extended our stay there because we felt so comfortable at Starlight and on Koh Phayam.The bungalows are great, there is hot water, fly screens on the windows and enough fans.We are already looking forward to our next trip to Thailand

provably the best place around, and i saw a few, you can really tell they take care of it, the jungle around the bungalows is clean of leaves every day and for the ppl that dont handle bugs too well there is more modern concrete bungalows on the back, still one minute walk from the beach. cant recomend enough ❤️

Came in the middle of the year and there were a lot of big mosquitoes. Fan rooms will be hot and difficult to sleep in for people used to sleeping with air conditioners. The rooms are clean, have mosquito nets, no refrigerators, the view is very good, the beach is quiet, you should rent a motorbike. There is a foreigner in the lobby. I'm not sure who he is. Is he a partner or not? But he seems very friendly.

Staff were great, really helpful with any questions, tours, bike rental, taxi arrangements, they were very good at organising all of this.Really good spot on the bay, close to the beach and restaurants and bars. But the resort itself and where the rooms are, are quiet and peaceful. The grounds are well kept and the rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Mosquito nets worked great and our room had two fans.The hammock on the deck was a good spot, to view hornbills and butterflies. I also spotted a monitor lizard on the grounds which was unexpected but very cool.Would recommend, two thumbs up.

Second time on the island as a family of three,second time at Starlight. Such a peaceful and wholesome atmosphere in the middle of the greenest garden and on the best part of the Buffalo Bay. Todd and his staff are the best imaginable hosts and are doing everything to make the stay on the island as easy going as possible. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds and a little hang out area in the front. The restaurant is delicious with a very well selected menu. Todd rents out motorbikes to get you ready to explore the island. Many more highlights could be listed but I’ll let you discover yourself. We‘ll be back for sure.

Imagine a lush tropical garden, imagine a beautiful beach where you can experience the most beautiful sunsets, imagine finding a place that has all the services you might need, the Starlight Beach Resort is the embodiment of all of these.Todd and Da created this heavenly hideaway fifteenth years ago, and are always striving for excellence.Their staff members are kind, attentive, and always available to ensure that their guests are well taken care of.The bungalows are very well kept, and have all you need, not to mention that the beds are super comfortable.Top notch scooters, perfectly maintained, that can be rented at competitive prices.Another great commodity is the travel agents desk, day trips, activities, and transfers can be booked on site making your stay a complete no brainer.And last but not the least the restaurant, great food served from dawn to dusk, fresh seafood, great breakfasts, and an excellent selection of beverages.Great discovery on a beautiful island!Thank you so much guys, can’t wait to be back next year 🙏😊

We stayed there for a week with our toddler and absolutely loved it! Rooms are nice with a little terrace and hammock, beautiful greenery around. Staff is super friendly and Todd, the owner super helpful - organised our trip back, a scooter for the whole week, laundry and even got a babysitter for our son so we could go to the famous hippy bar which is just 5min walk away. It’s the best beach to swim on the island, also for kids, and there is quite a bit of shade at the beach. sunset is stunning. food is also nice and quite a variety! ah, and they offer free drinking water and bottles to refill to reduce plastic!

If you want to really relax, this is the right place for you.Everything was very calm, such a nice, deeply relaxed owner...Our bungalow is wonderful, there is a hammock, mosquito nets in the right places, loungers are further forward with a wonderful view of the sea.The whole atmosphere is very relaxed, there is a lot of green and the hornbills flutter towards the neighboring property, very cute to look at.The people who work here are very accommodating and friendly, without being annoying. If you lie down on the loungers again later in the evening, less than five minutes later someone is there to ask if you would like another cushion, very attentive and as unobtrusive as possible.The complex enchants you as soon as you enter it, everything is in tip-top shape, the flowers are blooming, everything is green and quiet.The owner, thanks to you, Todd, tries to do everything possible to get the best possible result, even when rebooking.We are in love with the Starlight and will definitely come back next year ❤️

This little gem is such a piece of heaven, it makes you doubt if you should even tell your friends about it….From an impeccable and beyond helpful host to beautiful bungalows and beach, as well as the legendary Hippie Bar a 5 minute walk away, This is one of those very rare places that truly rules…

We spent 3 nights at this lovely beach front resort in Koh Payam.The beach and the views at sunset are amazing with a few options to enjoy delicious meals and good drinks on the beach.The beach-front bungalow is spacious with a mosquito net, balcony with seats and hammocks.We enjoyed chatting with Todd, the owner, who was very kind and fun to spend time with.One of the best options in Koh Payam!

It is a nice place to relax.The resort is in the jungle with direct access to the beach. The beach is beautiful and very clean.The host and his team are very attentive.The room are simple but clean. There is hammock in front of each room.The food in the restaurant is delicious and it's nice to drink a beer with a sunset view.

I'm here now. This is a great resort for mindful travel. Cozy bungalows, responsive staff. We spent an unforgettable 4 nights here. We passed the news - this is the best beach. And also, right next door is a good Knock cafe - very tasty, reasonable prices.

The most wonderful place to stay, with lovely staff who will make sure you're accommodated with whatever you need transport or activity wise.Beach side restaurant (open most of the day) makes for a nice vibe with other guests. Delicious menu too.The coolest bar on the island, the Hippie Bar, is at walking distance. Next door restaurant Knock Knock I found to be the best on the island.No AC, and showers are cold, but that's the same pretty much everywhere on Koh Phayam.
