Unfortunately, I wasn't welcomed here as warmly as I know from Thailand. I was taken to the bungalow without comment and the woman also left me without comment. I went back to ask for the WiFi password. Then I was told that there was no WiFi. I explained that it says on Booking that it is included. Then I got the password?! Unfortunately it only worked in the lobby. I asked if they could organize a boat for me to Koh Phayam the next day (asked before midday at 12pm). I was just put off until the later evening that they hadn't gotten an answer?! I think they wanted to force me to stay. So I contacted my new accommodation, which luckily helped me!Since it's low season, everything was closed (bar, restaurant) and they didn't have any food in the hotel (only cold beer and water from a canister, I got that water for free). But I was kindly driven to a place where I could eat. Yes, it wasn't such a nice experience.

Early April 2024; Great hotel location, decent room and the people who work at the hotel are friendly. My only regret is not being able to go to the beautiful islands that can be seen on the horizon because they belong to Myanmar and it is impossible to go there as a foreigner

Spectacular place. We stayed here for 4 days. Fantastic view and unforgettable sunset. Few people and very calm and quiet like the rest of the resort. Good service and food in the fantastic restaurant with large portions. There is everything to eat. For any taste and genre. All kinds of diets and problems. Absolutely worth visiting and trying to enter into this atmosphere that the island offers.

After 7 nights at the Koh Chang Resort, you can honestly say that you would love to be a guest again. Very clean bungalows in different price ranges (recommended directly on the beach). The owner Kae is very friendly and helpful, gives tips and makes phone calls for the guest. Informal, relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant - food perfect...UPDATE JANUARY 2024:Spent a few lovely days again at the Koh Chang Resort. In 4 years, a number of bungalows were newly built and/or renovated. The entire team around owner Kae is still there and was very happy to see each other again. Clean bungalows in 3 rows at different prices. Of course we recommend the first row with a veranda over the water. As usual, the food was perfect and the staff was helpful and nice. We would like to come again.

Unfortunately, we had problems with mosquitoes and sand flies during our 5 days. The beach huts do not have mosquito nets. At high tide, getting to the beach over the rocks is difficult.

Super chill, few tourists, beautiful bungalows right on the beach, great owner and nice stuff. Only electricity for hours, cold showers, but otherwise great. FOOD GREAT!

Excellent place to stay. The woman who runs the place and all the staff are very efficient d friendly. The room prices are reasonable. Some rooms are built right over the beach. The food is a little expensive but very good. We enjoyed our stay

My favourite place in ko Chang..good food.. friendly and family atmosphere.. possibility to rent a motorbike..good place for kayaking,fishing and relax..and beautiful sunset from the bungalow terrace

The atmosphere was good, but I still remember that night I stayed in a corner room to avoid the drafts. It wasn't until the time when the electricity was cut off. It was very hot, so we went to sleep in front of the balcony. Found a fake gecko Hidden to sleep in a room with a real gecko all night. The scariest thing is that when I woke up I found out I was sleeping with a gecko. It's on the head of the bed. It's haunted until today.
