Service and hospitality were great. The national park tour recommended and booked here was simply great. Damage to the scooters rented there wasn't a problem at all and was repaired cost-effectively by Steven and Som.

Steven picked-up us for ride (we were hitch-hiking).His story is very interesting and his way of living adapt perfectly to the life here.I suggest you to spend some days in his place to get a real idea of this island.

I recently spent 3 weeks in a 1BR cottage at Big Trees Village and had a great stay.Steven and his wife Som take care of every need and provide good advice if you need, they really make you feel like family!Som also makes the best Pad Thai! You have to try it!The property is ideally situated in the back of Lamai, quiet, green, lots of space and no disturbance but only 5 min drive away from the busy area.The cottage is simple but has all you need and the price is very affordable. They also provide scooter rental for a competitive price which is very convenient.I definitely recommend Big Trees Village!

Nice quiet location, beautiful garden, no noisy neighbors, very friendly hosts, Steven and Som. They do everything to make you feel comfortable.We went with them to the night market, where Som makes delicious pad thai.Rent scooters and can arrange tours for you. Great, we will definitely come back

Quietly located bungalows on the edge of Lamai, yet central, everything can be reached in 5 minutes by scooter. Practical equipment, fully equipped kitchen, nicely laid out, located in the middle of the great garden. Steven and his family welcomed me really well and I got a lot of insider tips, very very helpful. I had a great time and am looking forward to coming back again.

We contacted Steven following strong recommendations from very good friends of ours and we were not disappointed! It was our first time in Koh Samui and he was a great help for us with the rental of the scooter (delivery of the scooter to the hotel) everything is simple and Steven does everything to ensure that you have a good vacation! We will come back thank you Steven and Som ðŦķâšïļ And Som's Pad Thai are excellent if you go to chaweng!

Me and a group of friends stayed in a villa that Steven and his beautiful family were looking after over the new year period. Steven is such a big character with a crazy sense of humour that we grew to love. From motorbike rental to tours and taxis, Steven and som are always there to offer the best service. My only regret is that we didnât get to party with Steven in Green Mango. Iâm sure we will be returning in the near future for another dose of Steven & Samui life. We went to KOH SAMUI for the third time this year with a couple of friends. We met Steven and Som who were extremely friendly and very professional, always available to answer our questions, and make our stay as pleasant as possible. Somâs Padthai was great ð. Nice and quiet family run resort,where they really make you feel like a family. Steven has a crazy sense for humor, don't take him too seriously. He will show you around if you wish and leave you alone if you don't. Som is making the best Pad Thai that we tried. Bungalows have everything that you need, and if you need something extra they will provide it to you.

Steven picked us up from the airport very warmly and easily. We found each other immediately and on the way to the house he showed us the area and described special places. He has lived on the island with his family for many years and has many insights to share. On the way to the house we stopped at the weekly market and the supermarket so that we could have a plot of land straight away. He also regularly supplied us with fresh coconuts and water canisters. Perfect for avoiding plastic bottles.We booked a trip to Angthong National Park. Everything went great and it was a special experience.We are already looking forward to the next time in Koh Samui with Big Trees Village!âĄâĄâĄ

Beautiful houses, people and energy. I loved my stay here, only intended on being there for 4 nights ended up staying there for the rest of my holiday. Stephen was so warm and welcoming and his family were absolutely gorgeous too, especially somâs cooking!! I will never have better pad Thai than at somâs market stall. Will always have big tree in our hearts and will definitely be back but for much longer. Thank you!!

Came to Koh Samui as strangers and left as family. Stephen and Som exceed the definition of hospitality making your stay as easy and stress free. Look no further than big trees village :) looking forward to coming again. Also would highly recommend the pink dolphin tour it is unbeatable ð

I hired a scooter from Steven and Som for a week. He went out of his way to give us a new scooter all the while giving us great recommendations for things across the island. Unlike new foreign operators that are springing up all over Thailand, Steve has been here (specifically in Koh Samui) for a very long time - he knows the island, the people and the culture. He made sure he was available to us if we had any problems (which there none) and he even offered to drive us to the airport! Thanks again to a Steven and Som for your hospitality!! We will see you very very soon!!

I visited Samui few times with my hasband. Every time we stayed at BigTrees. We spend our honeymoon there too. Great quite green propery with high palmtrees in the garden. You wake up from singing birds and you can see the mounting from your bathroom window. You can see sundown and sunrise above the mountainsBeach is 15 minutes ride wich is prefect because you ride through the jungle.Steven (the landlord) is friendly and supportive man, kind and funny, great landlord!We are happy that few years ago we found this land by accident and meet Steven and his family. Now we have many great memories

Here is what i can say about BigTreesVillage and owner:My and my wife stay in BigTreesVillage every winter for three month. Since 2015. So visited this place 5 times.In 2023 we rented one of his houses for 7 month! Nuff said i guess.Steven is nice guy and great host. He is very friendly and will always help if you got any question. Since we came more than once, every next time there was a feeling that we were coming home, where you are welcome, where you are expected.Property location near the jungle and far from road so its quite.A lot of different trees and plants around his big well groomed property with birds and squirrels everywhere, so you can hide in the shadows of coconut palmtrees on the hot afternoon. Not like in new resorts with sterile few bushes and one palm on the plastic grass with no shadows. If you want to live close to jungles but 13 min bike ride from the ocean - this is the right placeI rented good bike, you can pick what bike you like and make a test ride. He has scooters and motobikesIm sure i will come here back next time

Organized an amazing New Year for us and our many friends. Interesting and eventful leisure time is guaranteed to you. In this place you can rent a car or a great motorcycle and they will have reliable insurance. Thank you Steven for our comfortable stay, we really look forward to seeing you again!I agree with the owner that you need to know everyday English if you are a traveler and saying hello and smiling to your neighbors and generally being friendly doesnât hurt anyone either, and even helps in life.
