Leaky walls and roofs, the entrance door couldn't be locked, the floor in the bathroom was completely wet when we arrived, and there was only one socket in the whole bungalow. We canceled the next morning, the owner promised to refund us the costs for the remaining nights, but then refused it when we asked online. Even though the location on the beach is really nice, I absolutely cannot recommend this resort. I've stayed in really modest accommodations before, but this topped everything.

Very simple bungalow at a great price right on the beach. 500 baht a night.Hard to get down to with lots of steps so not very accessible if you had many heavy bags / elderly. But was fine for us, scooter parking at top of hill. They kept our bags for us which was nice. Checkout 10amCold shower only. Bathroom was ok, toilet had no flush have to flush by spray bidet.10 min drive into centre. You can rent snorkelling gear from resort for 100 baht for snorkel. Also restaurant on site but didn’t try it out.

Perfect location, magnificent view.Very good restaurant dishes but more than half of the menu unavailable. Come before 7:30 p.m. otherwise you risk not being served.Very nice staff but communication is not always easy.“Roots-style” atmosphere, more authentic than the large adjacent complexes.Be careful, waste water (shower, sink) goes directly into the sea! Take only natural products with you! (Mosquito repellent, creams, soaps, shampoos, coral-friendly sunscreen, etc...)

Simple bungalow with fan ....a bit too hot in may but probably enough in other months.Private roomRestaurant in the resort, a bit expensive but nothing else nearbyHighly recommended to rent a motorbike and move yourself between the different snorkel spots. This is one of them!!Very quietGreat viewsGreat relaxExtraordinary cost/quality ratio.... Of course it is plenty of luxury resorts, but what the hell ... You have the views, you have the beach!!

The resort is really nice right by the sea and is great for snorkelling and seeing turtles! However, our bungalow was sunky. There was no ac, only a small fan. The power also went out twice. It was hard to sleep as it was so hot. There are also ants in the room and lots of mosquitoes. The location is otherwise quite off. There is no shop nearby and only the hotel's restaurant. Other restaurants are very expensive nearby. The water at the hotel is also very expensive. However, the staff are very helpful and absolutely fantastic people. However, I do not know if I recommend this accommodation.

We had an amazing stay at Rocky Resort. Our little house had a great view to the ocean and was very clean. The staff was very kind and the restaurant had good food. The shark bay which is directly linked to the resort is stunning and great for snorkling. The next supermarket is 20 minutes by foot and about 5 with a scooter so not a problem at all. Overall it was a very relaxing and nice experience.

Fabulous, and inexpensive. Even the small and modest restaurant on the beach: great. We had 2 bungalows, legendary, and the most beautiful beach on the island (too bad to see the garden of a luxury hotel complex when you turn around, but you quickly forget)

Very isolated place which is good but a bit too isolated as in unless you have transport, you are tied to the resort if you like it or not. Ridiculous pricing (80 baht for a bottle of water. 130 baht for a poached egg) and nothing is complementary..... Even ice is chargeable at 5 baht. The rooms are basic and squalid. We were first put in a room that we affectionately called 'The Chicken Coup' that was over run with mosquitoes and ants. We refused to accept it, it was that bad and for 7000 baht extra we were upgraded 4 nights later to a room that was on the sea as promised, not tucked back in the jungle. To get to the beach you have to wade through the sea which, at high tide is up to the chest so bring a waterproof bag and once on the beach make sure you take your key with you as beach patrol guards will charge you 100 baht just to be there.Food is okay but expensive for what you get and if you fancy a beer? 80 baht for a small tin of Chang.Shark View Bar run by Luguide has an amazing sunset and he is friendly and fun to be around so definitely give that a try.All in all, a bit run down and tatty but the view is amazing however being charged for everything at silly amounts does leave you feeling like they have got you, now we turn the thumb screws on your wallet.
