Rooms quite small but clean, nice staff, few backpackers difficult to make contacts, not very central

Very trustworthy! I left my laptop in a locker and they held onto it for me until I was able to get it from another island.Facilities are very clean — I haven’t seen a hostel cleaner. Privacy is pretty good, with curtains separating bunk beds.

Basically no privacy, common areas have loads of people and no curtains on the beds for 3 and 4 bed dorms, don’t know about the 8 bed dorms. Service was great and the front desk provides ample tour options and private taxi for cheaper than other options. Would recommend if you’re looking for a very social hostel.

I went to stay at the hostel a couple days ago around 10 at night after a long flight. We had booked the hostel on hostel world so they knew we were coming but when we got there, there was no one in the reception and a couple people told us we’re the rooms were so we put our bags in and went to reception to wait when the owners arrived they were very disrespectful and intimidating he started saying how dare you this is my country he started getting very aggressive, this place does not have a good vibe it’s not good, the rooms have no natural light, we also found a large knife in the bathroom, The beds are like sleeping on a plank of wood it is not pleasant at all. The fact they call it a hotel is a disgrace altogether. In the end we were forced to sleep outside 7.11. do not stay here

We booked and payed online, upon arrival no-one was at the front desk. It was around 11am and we had just come off a long flight and desperately needed some rest. A few people told us which was the room of 14 so we put our bags down for a moment and went to find the reps so we could officially check in. Eventually the reps did show up and when greeting them asking to check in they immediately got very angry we had stepped foot inside the hostel without them being there. There was no sign or anything telling us theyd even be back tonight and typically hostels have someone on the front desk 24/7. Eventually they began to check us in however the owner got very aggressive repeatedly telling us this is his country and his hotel. Not wanting to argue we had to nod along to what he was saying, not ling after he walked off and went on the phone. Me and my friend thought they may be calling the police with false claims so we took our bags and had to flee from the hostel. Later we walked past that hostel when getting a drink from 7eleven and police where outside. We where forced to stay the night on the street as everywhere else was closed. Would not recommend this “hotel” if you dont want to stay in a thai prison

Great hostel, lots of nice people, great employment opportunities with a pool.Although it is quite centrally located, you can still find peace and quiet here. You can have your laundry washed or do it yourself in the washing machine in the yard.Airport close by, but you get used to it.
