Spectacular hotel with incredible views! The breakfast and the pool are amazing..The service is very good and the rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable, except for the pillows which are very hard.It has a gym that is one of the best I have seen in a hotel.Perhaps an improvement would be to improve the climb to the rooms or to breakfast since you have to climb a steep hill and it is very uncomfortable. (sometimes they take you down or put you up in a cart but you have to catch it at the moment).For everything else, it is an incredible hotel to relax and enjoy! Highly recommended.

We love here. Our son Teenoi also enjoys at Mantra for his first time island 🏝️.The location is so beautiful. The resorts reside up on the hill. You can wake up and see the sun rising from your bed. (Wow suite). The service was amazing. Everyone is very service-minded and polite.This resort is pet friendly. They prepared big bed and water bowl for our son.The staffs are always on time for any help.You may need to call the receptionist for going down. And if have your car or bike, it will be convenient for traveling.I really recommend Mantra resorts for the best service in Koh Samui.Thank you. 😊

A fantastic hotel! First of all, you are extremely far away, you can't get there without a taxi or motorbike, even on foot it would be a challenge due to the steep gradients. But the view makes up for it, whether from the room (had 612) from the pool or the open breakfast room. Very attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast is fantastic, you can choose ready-made sets/dishes and there is also a buffet, real bread (white/whole grain) and all kinds of coffee specialties. There is a 24 hour buggy service if the paths are too steep. There is also a free shuttle to Chaweng or Fishermans Village twice a day.When I spoke to the somewhat unfriendly shuttle driver (external), the manager came to me to clarify the situation. Very professional!An all-round successful stay. Will happily be recommended.

Peaceful paradise perched on a hillside. Upgraded to a deluxe suite with uninterrupted bay views. Complimentary breakfast menu and buffet are great. Coffee made to order too!Minor internet connection on the first night, however finally rectified and wifi was strong on all our devices.Bedding is good- softer pillows would be nice. Huge bath and bathroom with soft towels.Great value resort - adults only!!! 🙌

5 star hotel? Not at all.A hotel similar to a pension.1. Unfriendly and grumpy staffExcept for one employee who greeted me when checking in and one male employee who was in charge of driving, the entire staff was grumpy and unfriendly.The female employee only asked for my key when checking out and didn't even say hello.When I asked if it was all over, I laughed at the way he responded by saying ‘It’s done’ and turning his head away.There wasn't a single question about how the stay was, and there wasn't even a word to say thank you or goodbye.The attitude of the staff, who are tickling even when you sit down at the restaurant and hand out menus to take away,It was annoying to see him standing so poorly.2. Poor room conditionI almost felt nauseous when I saw a sock that appeared to belong to a previous guest under the living room sofa.I tried to control my mood because I didn't want to ruin my trip, but I didn't even want to sit on the sofa.3. When I inquired about the tour, they said they would contact me, but there was no call.The buggy arrived more than 15 minutes late once and no one even said sorry.I don't think I'll ever go again.I chose it because of the good view, taking into account the inconvenient transportation and high slope.I regretted it.

Our last stop on our island tour in Thailand was unfortunately the most disappointing: the hotel and facilities as well as the view are very good, unfortunately the ladies at the bar are not. There isn't really anything more to say about it.

A very pleasant and cozy hotel with an ideal swimming pool, fitness room and stunning views. Decent breakfasts and cozy rooms. The hotel gave me a pleasant surprise for my birthday, they gave me a cake, I was very touched by such a surprise. I really liked everything, we will definitely come back.

I went there because it was much cheaper than other 5-star high-end resorts and was said to be a child-free adult-only accommodation, and I was satisfied.I stayed in the Love ocean room and used the building right next to the reception. On the 4th floor, stairs and a side road lead to the main path to the pool/breakfast area. You can just go out to the reception and ask the staff for a buggy ride. Both the room and breakfast were located on the side of a mountain, so the view was basically great, and each room had a terrace, so it was nice to enjoy the view. The view from the accommodation was better than The Cocoon Cafe. The bathroom and room were spacious and nice. The amenities in the bathroom are limited to shampoo, soap and body, so I recommend bringing everything you need. The bed is a bit bad (the mattress feels a bit worn) and the bedding is not in good condition. It's not that the bedding hasn't been washed, but indelible things like pen marks remain. I felt uncomfortable, so I talked to the foreign male manager and he changed it right away, but there were traces of it even on the new bedding. I just thought they didn't buy new bedding very often and passed on it from then on.A pretty big downside was that because the accommodation was located in the mountains, bugs kept coming out of the room. Not one or two, but about ten? They looked like male ants with wings, but they weren't ants, they were bugs I didn't know what they were. I caught everything I could see, and small spiderlings came in from somewhere, and two or three of them came and went on the bed, and a thin web was spread in the corner of the bathroom. When I asked the staff, they told me that they were common bugs that didn't cause any harm, and that since it was an accommodation in the mountains, there was a possibility that bugs would come out even if I changed rooms, so I just kept staying there without changing rooms. Normally, I'm scared of bugs, but since there weren't any big bugs like cockroaches or mosquitoes, I could just tolerate this, but it was annoying. I put up with it because it was cheap, but if it was expensive, I would have complained right away...Oh, and maybe because it's a hotel chain that's not famous in Asia, I didn't see a single Asian person during my stay, and the only people there were foreigners.Breakfast: There is a basic buffet with 2 Thai food menus (changes daily), 5-6 drinks, 3-4 kinds of fruit, a bread section, and a vegetable section, and there are drinks and menus to order. The chef here is good at cooking Thai food, and everything on the Thai food menu is delicious except Pad Siyu. Personally, the Thai curry and Thai chicken porridge called Kai Tom that were served as a basic buffet were delicious. Pancakes and waffles are so...Swimming pool: The swimming pool is not very big, but it is deeper than others and is good for swimming because it is an adults-only accommodation with no children. It feels like an infinity pool, and the view from the pool to the beach is just so nice. There is no need to go to another view point. Water quality is good.Experience Program: I heard there are yoga and Muay Thai programs, but I don't think I've seen a single person doing them. The space where the program is held is comfortable, but it's a bit small so I feel like I can't do anything in earnest.Service: In general, all the men were very friendly, but the female employees were not so friendly. Neither rude nor kind? It wasn't a 5-star service, but I guess that's because the price was relatively cheap.Transportation: This is a location where you can't get there without renting something, whether it's a motorcycle or a car. It’s a very mountainous road. We took a taxi up there, took a shuttle the next day and came down to the main road, and rented a car from a local rental car company nearby. They give you a shuttle ride down the mountain road to the main road, but you have to go to the beach or night market on your own. Motorcycles are rented directly at the hotel, and there are no cars.Laundry service: Most of the clothes arrived well-washed, but one of the clothes shrunk to a small size. Don't leave your important clothes in check; wash them yourself.There were only a few cons, but in conclusion, I highly recommend it for the price because of the pool, breakfast, crazy view, and quiet atmosphere!🦋 As long as you don't mind bugs and slightly dirty bedding.

stunning!We were 4 days at the resort and really enjoyed it! The rooms and the hotel are very beautiful, the best breakfast we had in Kusumui. The hotel is located a little far from the center but it didn't bother us.Highly recommend♥️

This place it’s a MUST if you stay in Koh Samui, no doubt. We were not expecting that level of facilities and service.Everything was outstanding, from the room, the pool, the restaurant, the gym, to the staff.Another reason to come back to Thailand soon!Tip: Ask for rooms with Ocean Views, it’s worth it!

A golf buggy gets you around the resort on request.Food is generally good, with the mantra burger being a clear favourite of mine. There are Thai meals on offer as well as healthy meal choices.The Gym is well stocked and has Yoga, stretching, Mau Thai, alongside other wellness programmes and initiatives.Mary and the team deliver a good bar area experience, through providing warm welcome and fantastic cocktail options.Whether a romantic or wellness break, the Mantra has you covered!
