The hotel just opened on August 18, 2024.The hotel interior is beautifully decorated. There are many corners to take photos. wide swimming poolWe stayed in the basic room but had a balcony. The room size was very large and the bed was soft.I like the design that combines modern style.Delicious breakfast There are many menus to choose from.The service staff is very good. I like it.Hotel close to Lamai beach and various tourist spots Traveling is not difficult.

Centara Life Samui have renovated an existing building and added new areas as well. They opened Aug 18. We found there were a few 'teething' issues but still enjoyed our stay. Staff are so friendly, nothing was a problem. …

We were there one day after the reopening, i.e. from August 16th, 2024, for 4 nights. Many of them were still unfinished and our room hadn't had a thorough cleaning yet. There is a light barrier faucet installed in the bathroom, which kept running on its own for no reason and then wouldn't stop running. Once in the middle of the night. Breakfast was nothing special, when something ran out it was rarely refilled. At the large swimming pool, people simply forgot to plan stairs for entry and exit. There simply aren't any. So many people will have problems getting out of the pool. At the reception you will be given the card for your room, you have to look for the room yourself and no suitcases will be brought there. We had a room on the top floor, which you can take the elevator to. However, you then have to walk up half a floor and then drag your suitcase or push it up a steep ramp. All in all, we definitely wouldn't book here again, for the price of 2000 THB you can get better rooms, also in terms of the location. Oh yes, a deposit of 1000 THB is required per booking day.

I have heard that it has beed opened since the middle of August, but all facilities are so amazing and convenience with suitable price. The room is very large. It is the combination between vintage and modern style. Also, the staff, View and Reya at the reception are very friendly and helpful. The location is not far from Lamai Beach and many restaurants around. Good recommend👍🫶♥️

We stayed at the Centara Life Hotel for 6 nights and have mixed feelings about our experience. While the hotel has a lot of potential, unfortunately, there were several issues that made our stay less enjoyable.Firstly, our shower overflowed because the water didn’t drain properly. Then we encountered plumbing problems that caused our toilet to overflow. When we reported this to the reception, we were poorly assisted, which was very disappointing.Additionally, the air conditioning didn’t work properly, causing the room temperature to rise to 28 degrees Celsius, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. We also had issues with our room keys not working, which happened four times, adding to our frustration.After having to switch rooms twice, we were finally upgraded to a more luxurious room. While this was a nice gesture, it didn’t fully compensate for the inconveniences we experienced.Overall, our stay was good, but the numerous issues made it much less enjoyable than we had hoped. Hopefully, these problems can be resolved so that future guests can have a better experience.

This restaurant is very cozy and very variety of food as especially good choices for healthy meals and vegetarians which is such a good place, they have mixed with Thai and international dishes.

Let’s start with all the things we liked:Probably the best about this hotel is the staff!! (View is amazing and very helpful)In general the staff gets 5 out of 5 stars, because they are super friendly and lovely.The rooms: the rooms are designed well, a relaxing colour scheme and cosy design. The bed is probably the best one I’ve ever slept in Thailand (sooo comfy) and pillows are great as well! Enough storage room for your luggage as well!The bathroom: also a modern and nice design, spacious and good lighting.The bar, restaurant and pool area are pretty and clean as well. Very nice place in the middle of Lamai.I definitely can recommend it!! :) also: everything is super clean!!Things which need to be done:I think the hotel opened a bit too soon and several things are not done yet. (We changed room twice)In the first room the ac was too strong and blowing right on the bed and the sound at night from the bars was quite loud, so we changed to a quiet room in the other building. The room on the ground floor was quieter, but the shower wasn’t levelled, or even a bit to the wrong side, so the whole bathroom was flooding and slippery. It also developed therefore a damp smell within 2 days. Also the plug in the bathroom isn’t fixed correctly, which is dangerous with humidity.The staff was very nice and asked us if we want to change the room to an upgraded one.There everything is perfect.Things which the hotel constructors need to work on: renew the shower in the ground level, noise and strength of Airconditioning cause it’s very loud, fixing little things like plugs, putting furniture and dry racks on the balcony.Also: on the menu the service charge isn’t shown. Example: the happy our says 200THB for 2 cocktails, but the invoice shows something completely different (169thb+169thb - 169thb + 7% tax and 10%service charge = 228thb)That’s confusing, cause it’s basically 2 for 1 plus charges, but that’s different to the price written on the menu. If you charge taxes and service charge on top, this should be mentioned and not just added.Soundproofing should be also improved.Would we come back? Definitely yes!The hotel just needs some time to fix the errors. It probably opened a bit too early and things need to be finished off and fixed.I gave 4 stars, cause even with this mistakes, it was a nice stay and they need time to finish the hotel.I bet in one year this hotel will be perfect and I would give 5 out of 5 stars.

Very nice , spacious rooms. Nice new pool as well and a small, but good happy hour for cocktails. About a 3 minute walk to the beach as well and staff were very friendly and helpful.

All is looking fine but some work. Had To be done in this quite New hotel... Hot water isnt working in the shower and the shower isnt level so the water cannot get out... All the mother things are perfect.
