I am happy to have been there but I am left with too little taste for the experience with the elephants and the magic did not work there due to the "military" side of the organization.We stayed there for 3 days and two nights.Good experience at main camp and Lake Camp.The welcome is impeccable, the tents luxurious, perfectly maintained and clean. Nothing to complain about.You will have the same guide to accompany you all 3 days, we were with Tam, just perfect!The dining area is very beautiful and very well stocked, mainly Thai meals, everything was very excellent.For the organization, everything is precise, no improvisation, it works!Oddly a little too precise... difficult to explain.Little downtime but enough to take the plunge or paddle on the lake.You will stay with the same group the entire stay, approximately 20 people.Too bad there were no French speakers with us. It would be good to think about this when composing the groups.I'm still a little unsatisfied with the experience with the elephants. They are not at the main camp, you have to drive 15 minutes to see them. The experience is very nice but too short for my taste. We feed them, we take photos then we leave and we only see them for an hour or two during the entire stay. Too little for me who expected much more.I imagined myself sitting and admiring them at my leisure from the camp.I find the overall experience of the 3 days pleasant but excessively expensive.Especially compared to prices in the rest of Thailand.

We planned a tour at Elephant Hills – The Lake Camp during our stay in Thailand.It was a huge, fantastic adventure.After our journey to Elephant Hills, we were allowed to visit an elephant sanctuary. It was very impressive. We were allowed to feed the elephants with bamboo and fruit, watch them bathe and received a lot of information about the animals.After the elephants we went downstream by canoe. We saw various animals (monkeys, snakes, toads, etc.) on the tropical rainforest river edges. We also had rain, which may have been part of our travel time, but that didn't matter to us. The atmosphere was really mystical and we really enjoyed it.We were able to move into the tent back at Elephant Hills. As a family we had a tent with a double bed and two single beds for the children. It was a little tighter for four people, but still very luxurious for camping. The tent is also equipped with a shower and toilet.For dinner there was a buffet with Thai menus. We liked it very much. An evening program (dance performance) was also presented.On the second day we traveled on to the Cheow Larn reservoir and took a tour and transfer by longtail boat to our next tent accommodation.The Lake Camp accommodation was sensational and also a great experience. These tents could only be occupied by two people, so we had two tents. From the tent you could jump directly into the lake for swimming, canoeing or stand-up paddling.In the afternoon we went on a jungle hike where we saw various animals (spiders, snakes, bats, monkeys, etc.). It was very impressive and exciting.The meals at Lake Camp were again served as a buffet and we enjoyed the food very much. Many thanks to the kitchen crew.On the third day we said goodbye to Lake Camp after a canoe trip on the lake.We really enjoyed the natural paradise and were very well accompanied and looked after by our ranger Sam over the three days. Thank you very much for the fantastic experience. We can highly recommend the Elephant Hills/Lake Camp.

The Elephant Hills Camp, as well as the Floating Lake Camp, is a true experience. The tents are absolutely luxurious and we had no problems with insects as the windows have mesh.We would never have expected such a fresh and varied buffet in the jungle.If you want to relax in absolute nature and are still open to adventures and activities, this is the place for you!

Loved our stay at the Lake Camp. Relaxing couple of days. Kayaking and trekking also included in the experience. Well worth the effort with complementary pick up and drop off in most areas Phuket. Stayed in end of February and not a single mosquito bite. Lovely food and great hosts. I'd highly recommend visiting here

The tents on the lake were first class. The food excellent. The rangers were so hardworking, knowledgeable and friendly. The only minor irritant was having to wear a life jacket when going for a swim.

If you love Asia, the jungle and elephants, you MUST have been here.Don't miss an overnight stay in the jungle on the lake!!!!Live in tents and still have every luxury. A great program every day. Fitness should be present.

We spent our 2nd night in that camp, always guided by the fabulous Pearl.It is not very sportive : even if we do Canoe-Kayak and jungle trekking, I thought it would be more demanding. The guides take anayway the time to wait for you if you have difficulties.The buffet is reduced compared to the main camp, but still very good (true vegetarians may find the buffet not very varied : I had for instance to take meat despite my convictions to have varied choices, or else it would have been steamed vegetables everytime!)The jungle trekking was interesting : we entered a cave with many beasts... Very impressive, I will remember... But fortunately, you always feel secure (every group has its guide PLUS a park guide that inspects everything in front of the group).The free time you have in your tent is pleasant : you can relax with the water, the starry night.The jungle makes a lot of noise, but it is so powerful to hear the monkes screaming, the cigadas, ... There's always a member of staff to explain what you are hearing or what you can watch. They are all found of nature.The only thing slightly annoying is that you have to wear a life jacket all the time : swimming and kayaking, and even in the long-tail boat. It is not Elephant Hills' fault, because it's the park regulation... but it means less pleasure...

We did the 2 night/3 day experience (Elephant Hills & Rainforest lake safari)This was an absolutely unique experience.From the stunning views of the beautiful Khao Sok National Park to partaking in the great activities offered by the staff including feeding and interacting with the Elephants, kayaking and trekking, with our wonderful guide Saow, who ensured it was truly an unforgettable experience, with her extensive knowledge of the area and its wildlife to her wonderful sense of humour! Thank you Saow!The rooms offered all the creature comforts of any 4 star hotel to ensure customer comfort, the food was great and was served buffet style offering a lot of variety.Bear in mind that the Elephant encounter is only a small part of the experience and is around 1.5-2hour experience, personally this was enough, but for some it may not be.Over all an amazing experience - would highly recommend!

We were at the camp on the 2 day tour!!! It was the absolute highlight of our honeymoon 🥰Touching an elephant once in your life and feeding it was a great and never-to-be-forgotten experience! I'm really in love with (I think her name is Nala?! 🫣 and she's the lovely elephant lady from the circus) 🥰🥰We had a really great tour guide in lovely Tam, she organized everything extremely well. My wife is very afraid of snakes, I spoke briefly to the ranger and they took extra care of my wife!!! Thank you again for that.The tents in the camp and on the water were pure luxury!!!! If we could give you 6 stars we would! 🥰The food was also very, very tasty, in both camps!!!!!! ☺️☺️The return transport to Koh Samui was also very well organized! 👍If you spend time in Thailand you should definitely go to Elephant Hills Camp!The work should be supported!!!

We did the 3 days,2 nights safari and jungle trek, which we stayed on the lake. It was the best experience ever. We enjoyed every bit of it. The staff were amazing, very friendly and funny. Our guide Deen was funny and a brilliant guide, telling us about the elephants and the other animals in the jungle, he made it even better. The locations and food were unbelievable. I would definitely recommend to anyone who visits Thailand. Keep up the good work 👍 5 star rated.

Stayed one night at main camp and one night at lake camp. Lake camp was definitely the favorite due to your ability to swim and kayak on your own. No air con but the fan did a great job slept very comfortable. Food was excellent for all meals, missed that after we left elephant hills. Did an awesome jungle hike and went to a cave highly recommend participating in the hike. Also bring bug spray!
