Went to stay on the night of April 15, 2024 and booked through the Agoda website. The first thing I saw was The hotel doesn't have a lift but that's okay. The hotel condition is deteriorating. It's like the owner didn't take care of the stair tiles falling off and breaking, the roof leaking as shown in the picture. And most importantly, on the night I stayed, I hardly slept because next door there was a drinking band playing music so loud that it hit me. 3....There's something like this too....

When we booked, the picture misled us greatly; in reality, they have a very good photographer and color correction. The rooms are not cozy, and there is a sewage smell present. The breakfasts are monotonous and lack variety. The towels, once white, now appear more blue. In the shower, you constantly need to hold the nozzle by hand, which is inconvenient. However, the location is excellent, just a couple of minutes to the beach. There are no pests in the rooms, and daily cleaning is provided, the room was spacious

Value for money! Good breakfasts at this price, there are omelette, sausages, rice/noodles, meat, cereal, milk, tea, fruitExcellent locationCons - there are not enough hand towels, a chair on the balcony in the standard room.

The Ray-Bay Hotel is a good value for money hotel. The downside is that the rooms do not all look like the Booking photos. We had a room with a view of a street between two buildings with lots of construction rubbish... (a shame when you're on an island).- on the room: the air conditioning was perfect as well as cleanliness. the rooms were cleaned every day and the towels changed. On the other hand, the establishment is a little noisy. Personally it didn't bother me but it's better to bring earplugs.- on breakfast: there was a lack of variety, an effort could be made on this side.- on the staff: very kind, and very professional, they offered us great excursions as well as a good transfer. Thank you once again :)- on the location: it's not too bad, close to a Seven Eleven and a vegetarian cafe (Full & Fill)

Nice small hotel with spacious rooms. Clean, good air condition, comfy bed. Balcony at most rooms, beach just a minute walk away.7-Eleven, and Lotus express just around the corner, also right in front of Lotus very good small food hawker stall.Lady at a reception is speaking very good English, and has a great sense of humor.Everything was great, so we love to stay at this place

We spent a week in the hotel. The hotel is located in a great location, from where you can walk to the beautiful beach in a minute. All services are within walking distance. Of course, I recommend renting a scooter to get the most out of Koh Lanta.The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower always had warm water.Buffet breakfast available until 10:00 and this basic good. Bread, cereal, hot food and drink. Opposite the hotel there is also a wonderful vegan restaurant/cafe.The hotel staff are very attentive and nice. Laundry service can be obtained directly from the hotel reception. The hotel has a small gym where you can do basic workouts. As a development proposal for the staff, maintaining the cleanliness of the gym and checking the condition of the goods there, as well as getting a fan.Overall, Lanta Ray Bay is a wonderful place and I would come again!

Great place! Great location for exploring the island and all the necessary things right next to the hotel - 7-11, ATMs, beach, restaurants, massages. The nicest service in Thailand! They are happy to explain everything, help and recommend things worth seeing on the island! On the recommendation of the lady from the reception, we went on a snorkeling trip - it was wonderful and beautiful, we are very glad we decided to do it! Hope to see you in the future 🤍🤞🏻

A definite plus point is the excellent location not far from Klong Nin Beach. Price/performance is also comparatively ok. The staff is extremely friendly, even if there is only one lady who speaks good English. Nam is very helpful and tries everything to make the guests feel comfortable.The breakfast is very simple and not really suitable, especially for vegetarians or vegans. The beds are extremely hard, but unfortunately that is the case in almost every hotel in Thailand. The rooms are also really noisy as you can hear either the main road or the road to the beach from every side. My neighbors at 7eleven started cleaning the outside of the air conditioning at 11 a.m. one night. Completely absurd. However, a friend who was there for two nights was able to sleep well and thought everything was ok. So if you don't have huge demands and aren't a light sleeper and would like to spend 2-3 nights on Klong Nin Beach but don't want to spend a lot of money, you can definitely recommend Ray Bay.

The place was well situated if you want to be on the chiller part of town. Close to everything because it’s central. You can rent a motorbike from them as well which I highly recommend to have in Lanta. The front desk girl was very lovely and helpful.

Great family run hotel in a fantastic location!We had a lovely 5 night stay at Lanta Ray Bay. Everything about this place is as it should be - friendly and professional service, decent rooms with comfortable beds and the location is just perfect - a minute walk from beautiful, family friendly beach, numerous restaurants, great coffee shops, bars etc. Very convenient for exploring the island but also quiet and peaceful at the same time. Nam, who owns the hotel, runs it very well and is available at reception most of the time. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she helped us organise local trips, car rental and airport transfer (including a car child seat for our 3yo daughter which we didn’t even have to ask for).Breakfast offering is simple but tasty.All in all, Lanta Ray Bay is great value for money and we will be definitely staying there again when we visit Ko Lanta in the future.Thank you Nam and the team - you made our holiday :-)
