The owner of the accommodation is from the area. Friendly service like family Beautiful nature, with fish and squid of various sizes falling around the accommodation. (Along the tip of the rocks)The atmosphere is quiet and free from chaos. The sound of cicadas is very loud. There are birds flying around. (Small hornbill) crabs running all over the beach.The limitation here is the limited availability of fresh water - if you come visit, please help use it sparingly.View - Lots of trash from the ocean 🥲Traveling after covid-19, there are mail boats running 2 days, 2 days off, so you should check the boat schedule with your accommodation carefully. Because the villagers on the island know exactly which days and when the boats run.

We had a wonderful stay here. The cabins have everything you need and the food is very good. Deng organized a longtail boat tour into the national park for us that we will never forget. You can rent a scooter to explore the island and borrow a canoe for free. The beach in front of the huts is always clean and beautifully prepared. Great price anyway!! Definitely again next time!

This is an amazing place to rest for a few days. Sao and Daeng make sure that you feel really welcome. If you WhatsApp her she will send the ferry timetable (200 Baht for the ferry) or they can even arrange to collect you. It goes from Phaluai Pier in Donsak which comes up on a google search. The island is completely undeveloped but the bungalows are super clean, comfortable with new mattresses and new mosquito nets, and the gardens and beach at the bungalows are cared for. You can hire a motorbike at the bungalows for 200 Baht a day and explore a little on the one road, seeing the small baan’s and hamlets, and the woods, forests and little tiny beaches. There is a Buddhist retreat centre here, and one small shop for fruit and snacks.At the bungalows here, the breakfast is generous with pancakes, fruit, eggs, toast and coffee and tea to drink all day, along with drinking water on tap. They even leave a nice cotton wrap in the room to use as a towel or sarong.Sao and Daeng arranged a trip for us in private longtail boat to Ang Thong Marine park, and we arrived 2 hours before anyone else so had the beach all to ourselves. On the way back we saw porpoises swimming in the bayThis is THE way to experience Ang Thong. Bring reef shoes or crocs, as the coral literally is lying about on the beach - beautiful but can be sharp. Environmentalists- and those with responsibility about how tourism affects Thailand please visit this place and offer your thoughts to how it can be protected now that the new pier has been built. This is undeveloped Thailand and this way of life….you will see and learn.Sao is a great chef and for more expensive options, hire a bike and watch the sunset at Phaluai Seafood Restaurant, heading just past the pier. Some of the best food we have eaten in Thailand. Try Yum Phaluai.Then go back and sit on the beach under the stars and wonder at the beauty and fragility of our planet, and the need to protect it

Please check about the transport first!Important information!!!How to get thereTimetable public transport boat to reach Koh Phaluai Islandin the even date:from Koh Phaluai depart at 06.30 AM.from Donsak city depart at 01.00 PM.in the odd date:from Koh Phaluai depart at 04.00 PM.from Donsak city depart at 01.00 PM.The pier is in Donsak city.Please note:- Koh Phaluai is a small island where is the part of Angthong national park,there hasn't electricity ,use only solar cell limited.- The pier to Koh Phaluai is in Donsak city, Suratthani. there have only one time a day depart from Donsak to Koh Phaluai the ticket is 200 THB. per person.- Donsak city is far from Suratthani train station and Suratthani airport around 2.00 hours by car.- Koh Phaluai hasn't 7-11, bank, ATM machine or any money exchange.- In 2022 The boat timetable will work every 2 days please check the boat with us before you make the reservation.- There hasn't any public transportation boat from Koh Samui or Koh Phangan directly to our island. there has only daytrip speed boat tour to Angthong National park. cost around 1800-2200 THB per person.- There has Private longtail boat from Donsak to Koh Phaluai cost around 3500 THB. can handle around 6-7 persons. need to make the reservation 2 days before the date of travel.- Private longtail boat from Koh Phaluai to Angthong National Park daytrip for 6 hours cost is 4500 THB. can handle 8 persons.

We had a wonderful stay on Koh Phaluai. The staff is very welcoming and takes care of all our requests. They offer scooter rentals to get around this magnificent island far from mass tourism. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. Daeng and the other staff are lovely and organized a great trip to Ang Thong National Park for us. The food they offer is delicious too.A big thank you for this wonderful stay🌞🌊

Nice place on a peaceful island that you have almost all to yourself. Very nice owners and staff. Funny, accommodating and helpful. They prepared for us a beautiful trip to the Ang Tong reserve, which I highly recommend.

Great service. Sadly we couldnt go there because of crazy ferry conditions. They were very understanding though
