When I booked the room through agodo there were no pictures of the actual room I got!My room had no windows and was separated from the hallway by a milky glass front, which was also the sliding door to get in. Everyone who passed through the hallway to the other rooms or the bathrooms could see my silhouette! But it gets even better: The light inside the room was also the hallway light and the switch to operate the light is outside in the hallway. This switch also operates the air ventilation. So I had no control over the light and air ventilation. People turned the light (and ventilation ) on and off in my room, while I was trying to sleep. As their are no curtains I couldn’t get the room really dark, even when the light was off, because light from the bathrooms and recreation area falls in.I asked for another room on arrival but I was not given one. I booked for three nights but changed to a nice Tree Hut Resort because it was impossible for me to sleep under these conditions. The owner was very unfriendly and took no responsibility for the conditions of the room. I asked for a refund for at least one night, but he wouldn’t do it. I think it’s fraud to let a room like this, without showing pictures or describe the conditions of the room.There are many hostels nicer and closer to the national park than this one. In the evening you have to walk a long way to the part where there are restaurants and bars.Even if you get another room - the rooms are overpriced. For this price you can get a nice hut in a resort closer to the park including breakfast. You just have to book in advance.Traveler beware! You might end up in a fishbowl!However, if you have no choice and you need to stay in the Evergreen hostel make at least sure that you don’t get the fishbowl room. Beware that if there is a problem that the on the outside friendly owner, will not solve it. He is only interested in money.

We initially booked for 1 evening. After the first evening we immediately booked two more evenings because we liked it so much. The service is top notch, the owner helped us with everything, the first evening when we arrived late, took us to the center with the restaurants, arranged tours, and took us to the scooter rental. In the morning we had breakfast which was not special but a nice extra because this was not indicated. The room was a bit small, but the problem from previous reviews about the light has been resolved!

This establishment is extremely expensive and the services non-existent,You will sleep in a dormitory at an exorbitant price,We paid the equivalent of €70 per night to sleep in pitiful conditions,Toilets and showers shared and never cleaned,I advise you not to sleep in this place,
