It is being rebuilt now. The old houses were demolished. They are building new ones.

Negative- shallow cloudy sea- dirty furniture- bed bags- crazy man, who lives next to the beach, screams periodically and try to get out through a fencePositive- nice host- cheap- beautiful garden- next to the sea- beautiful sunset- not much tourist there- really good restaurant next to the beach

The location is calm and looks beautiful. It is close to the beach but the area is kind of dead. The host is nice and helpful but the bad part is the rooms. I guess they are okay for a 2-star room but they are not that hygienic. A lot of stained and dirty furniture, including the bed. The bathroom is in bad condition and only provides the bare minimum.

Beautiful place with one of the best beaches in Koh Samui. Long and sandy and no rubbish at all. Clean water, moderate waves. The locals are lovely. ❤️

Quiet place and near the sea without much comfort but very pleasant to rest no restaurant but others nearby 30 meters the very clean beach is a few meters away I really enjoyed it and I will come back for sure

We stayed one month in Baan Wasana, and later on our friends spent one week there. It was a perfect stay. Bungalows are basic, which is the reason for giving 4 star for rooms, but for that money, location and service it is a jack pot. Secluded beautiful beach, that you have almost just for yourself, restaurant with local food, 2 minutes away. You can rent a motor bike with the owner, who is great guy, so polite and helpful ♥️ We really enjoyed every second spent here. Totally different Samui from east side chaos and crowds. Local atmosphere and amazing, stunning sunsets. Value for money 5/5. Will comeback here when we come to Samui.

We have a wonderfully stay in Baan Wasana. We booked for five days, but after we decided to stay there for a whole month. Great peaceful location right on the beach.The owner is a great man. He was always so helpful and friendly. Thanks for making this trip memorable.We are definitely coming back to this place🙂

Hotel with few stars. Don't expect anything. But the rooms and area are clean! The beach is being cleaned and the sand is being scratched. Quiet, far from the road. The location is very good. Houses on the beach, from the pier and the center a slow walk for a maximum of 40 minutes. On the way there is a market with vegetables, fruits and fish, shops. The manager can offer a scooter, you can take it if you are lazy. There is a restaurant nearby, prices are average by local standards. For the price they charge here per night, I more than recommend it. Internet is normal.

Quiet by the sea. The bungalows are individual, clean and with air conditioning. The first bungalows are 10 meters from the beach (magnificent) and the furthest are 100 meters in a very pretty garden.Possibility of renting a scooter on site, requesting a taxi...Restaurant of the neighboring hotel 300 meters on the beach.Delighted with our stay.

It could do with a refresh as the rooms are obviously a bit old, but the stay here was great. This is a place for people who are looking for peace and quiet. The beach is nice and not too crowded. There is a nice restaurant next door. The owner is very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable. I recommend

We had a perfect stay at Baan Wasana; such a lovely peaceful place and the bungalow had everything we needed and plenty of space. Walking distance to lots of great Thai eaterys. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Baan Wasana and hope to go back some day soon !

The place is certainly suffering the effect of the prolonged closure to tourism following the pandemic. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The accommodation we were given was facing the sea (about twenty meters away) on a sandy beach surrounded by palm trees. The care of the place was affected by the lockdown, but will be back to normal soon.
