A very nice place !! The staff is wonderful, we felt like staying longer because it was so nice . Since we are a bit strange and prefer fan over Aircon and the room does not have a balcony (we smoke) we moved. You have some kitchen appliances down by the lobby and toast and quite good coffee is provided for a little tip that you can leave if you like, no fix price. You will fall in love with Nissia the feline lady of the house. We would definitely come back next time for a night to meet the friendly staff again . Thank you ❤️

We stayed here for 4 nights. The owners are very friendly and helpful. A bit far from the beach but can rent a scooter right from the guest house with no issues. We were able to book the islands tour through the guest house as well and it was cheaper than in town. Free toast, coffee, juice and fruit in the mornings which was an added plus. The house also has cats that are very friendly!

I stayed at Ao Nang Beach on my first day in Krabi, but there were too many people and it was noisy at night, so I was looking for a quiet place and found this place.It was a single room with a double bed, and the space was quite spacious and the facilities were clean and nice.However, to get to the beach, you must rent a motorcycle or take a songthaew, tuk-tuk, or taxi from the roadside.In addition, the three owners spoke English well and were friendly.

+Room was big and clean,+bed was ok, we slept well+breakfast was included in price, it was basic, but for person with average stomac, it must be fair enough (bottomless toasts, bananas, free coffee/tea at lobby, Yoghurt , plate of fruits+People were AMAZING,CARING,CUTEST ever and POSITIVE, and in fact, this absolutely beaten all the small negatives+provided Trips, transports, laundry, barber, and motorbike all for fair prices+they kept our luggage 6 hours after checkout and let us have a shower-TV was really old (mind during rainy season, I did not mind)-on booking, it says 650 metres from the beach, in fact it is 950 metres, they promissed they will correct this information.

The rooms are very spacious and the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Also the breakfast was quite good (toast, jam, Juice, fruit, tea or coffee and yoghurt)You can rent scooters here (250 thb/day, the helmets are mediocre),as well as have laundry done (50 thb/kg).It's possible to walk to Ao Nang Beach or the Night Market in about 20 Minutes, a car or motorbike takes about 3 minutes. 7/11 is a 5 min walk.The only drawback: our room was right on the street, so it was quite noisy and the curtains didn't darken completely

Baan Thara Guest House is a Krabi hidden gem.The staff are amazing and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They will give you advice about places to go, and help you get cheaper deals on tours, bookings, and all sorts. WIFI is free, breakfast is included and coffee is available 24/7.But what we truly loved about Baan Thara, was how genuinely kind they are. They truly wanted us to have the best time and did whatever they could to make sure of it. We were traveling as a family with a small toddler and the way they treated him was amazing, we couldn't have felt more comfortable.Baan Thara Guest House is also located closer to Nopparat Thara Beach than to Ao Nang. Nopparat Thara includes the Ao Nang night markets, a ton of separate shop fronts, the Muay Thai boxing arena, lots of cannabis if that's what you are looking for, and in our opinion, a better-looking and more enjoyable beach. There are only boats up one end of the beach, and on the other end is a beautiful little cove where people snorkel and you can watch the boats come in and out from the pier. It's also way less crowded and there aren't tourists drinking. All the locals come down for dinner (which was a sign for us) and sit by Nopparat Thara and watch the incredible sunsets and most stay quite late.The beach is only a short walk from Baan Thara which is especially good if you are working with a small budget and don't have transportation (scooter or taxis).We absolutely loved our stay with Baan Thara Guest House and would highly recommend anyone who is planning to stay in the Ao Nang area to also stay here, we will absolutely be booking here again when we travel back to Krabi.Thank you so much Baan Thara, we wish you all the best.

Just checked out from a 3 night stay here, what an amazing place! The beds are very spacious and comfortable! The rooms were clean and had toiletries too. The 3 brothers were so kind and helpful, each morning would give us coffee toast and fresh fruit which we weren’t expecting! Nice quiet location a short drive from town and only 10 minutes from the beach 🏝️

Great place to stay! So clean and comfy, big rooms to stay in and the rooms are so nice! The place is ran by 3 brothers who are so nice, helpful, and really good hosts! It is a short drive to the main area with all the restaurants, however only a 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach. They even offer breakfast in the morning that’s included. Highly recommend staying at this place.

Incredible price quality. The owner was always very friendly, he let us check in early without extra charge, and he got us cheaper tours than those offered on the Internet and those offered on the beach. We stayed in room 31 and (contrary to what we read in other reviews here) the room was excellent. Spacious, comfortable, clean. It's not beachfront but I don't understand why people complain about that (look at the map!). By motorcycle or bike it is less than 5 minutes.

I stayed at Baan thara for several nights during my trip around Thailand. The owners are super super nice and helpful, arranged for me a boat tour as well as transport to the airport. The room was really big, beautiful and very clean, besides a good breakfast was included. Definitely the best place I stayed during my trip. It's a great value for the money, totally recommended! Thank you so much :)
