Overall recommended. However, you should book a room with a sea view as these are much higher quality than the other bungalows which are further away in the backyard! The view of the sea is fantastic and the location is also great - right on the beach. The beach is very clean and there are some restaurants. The service is okay. The room will be cleaned upon request. Overall, the staff seems rather unmotivated. The restaurant is less recommended as it is not particularly tasty.

I really liked my stay at this hotel, the room was very spacious, the view incredible! The balcony had a super comfortable armchair, a puff, a table and a chair.The stairs to reach the highest rooms are somewhat steep, but manageable.The staff is very very friendly! They rent snorkel and paddle board.To improve, they have the issue of the bathroom, it has a slightly strange layout and the water remains stagnant, so you get your feet wet to go to the toilet, personally I don't care much

Epic place, right on the beach, boho loft style rooms, that you dont get anywhere else. Its a bit hard to find but we stayed almost everywhere on the island and prefer Secret Place. 5 stars

The room was nice, clean and air-conditioned. The hotel is right on the beach, you only need to walk a few steps. Right next to the beach is a nice little restaurant with delicious food. There is a large, beautiful pool right next to it. Despite this, the hotel is not overcrowded and we had the pool and some of the restaurant to ourselves. There are also two small shops on the hotel grounds and you can also do your laundry.

Unfortunately, the outdoor air conditioning unit is right next to the headboard of the bed. So either extreme noise or sweating. No room service. But it was clean. Fan broken. For me, the price/performance ratio was simply not right here.

I was amazed at the impudence of the staff! the night before we checked in late and asked for a late check-out at 1 pm, we were allowed, and the next day at 12 they were already knocking on the door, saying that there was no agreement or promise! I would really like to talk directly with the owner!!!the price is clearly too high for a regular old bungalow even without breaking, and again deception! on the website the price was 980 baht, but upon arrival they sold it to us for 1300

I have just extended for the third time, I think that says all. I was sleeping in the dorm & the beds were comfy and clean. The stuff there is also friendly and the location is amazing!!

False advertising... The photos posted on booking correspond to the neighboring hotel complex....As well as the swimming pool in the photos which also belongs to the neighboring Resort.....

Really horrible place. I ordered the standart room and paid a lot because of high season. The location is very weird and hard to get there.
The room was very small, dirty and old. I left a day before I was planned..they are showing this hotel in 2 diffrent names on Booking. So be aware. And stay away.

I lived in one of these wonderful bungalows for 2 weeks and enjoyed every day. It is a quiet, fantastic location. And the owners and staff are very nice and helpful. I'd love to come back.

Secret place was clean and comfortable with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay on ko phangan. It's a great to meet people but also feels like a secluded little paradise. I will be sad to leave

I slept in the hotel's hostel or dorm and can give my recommendation. The beds are very comfortable and the room is nice and adequately equipped. But what made the stay so unique was the beautiful view of the sea as soon as you left the room. So if you're still looking for a hostel on Ko Phangan (on the beautiful Haad Yao Beach), I can only recommend Secret Place!

I beg to differ with most reviews here. This place is indeed not a high-end resort. But it's not priced like that either! I think for what it costs, it offers a decent value for money. The pros: beautiful views over Haad Yao, nice balcony with a hammock. Cons: basic room and deco, some Bass noise at night from Apple Bar in the vicinity. Also note that you can be resided in rooms that are separate from the actual hotel (7 minutes walk). These rooms are much worse, and have no view at all. Out of 3 nights I was resided there for 1 night. I think they should price these rooms differently (cheaper) to save the disappointment from the guests.
