The room is really dark, and the only lights in the photo are really there. I saw a mosquito, but it was too dark, so I only saw it once and couldn't catch it. You can't put toilet paper in the toilet and flush it away because I feel uncomfortable in my stomach. It's a bit embarrassing and I'm not used to it. I don't know if this is the case in hotels on the island or what. The height of the table and chairs are a bit inconsistent, making it inconvenient to eat (unless you have a long body).The key points for me: Neat and clean, fairly quiet at night. The only noise was the guest next to me who got drunk in the middle of the night, so there was nothing I could do about it. There was a cat receptionist when I checked in 😂 extra points. At this price, there are 2 bottles of water, which is good enough in terms of cp value.

Very happy with my stay at JJs while visiting Phi Phi for 4 nights as solo female traveller. Huge spacious rooms, very helpful and efficient lady at the reception desk, spotless clean. It was quiet and felt safe. When I did not leave the sign on the door to clean room, the staff there let a bag outside my door with fresh supplies which I thought was so kind. Definitely suitable for families and couples, anyone looking for somewhere a little nicer to stay without being the most expensive of options. Some rooms might be able to hear a little noise from bars that are a couple of streets away however I think almost every accomodation that is central in Phi Phi will get a little noise.

Nice clean hotel. Short walk to the beach but for nicer beaches you’ll need to talk a boat. Pool was good but no chairs around it to sit or lounge. Self serve laundry around the corner.

PROS: Near to basic amenities, within walking distance to dining out and tours. Good bed to sleep.CONS: Dim and doggy lighting in room. Dark especially at night. Old furnishings. Lighting fickled. Toilet/shower room stinked.

The rooms smelled of mold, probably coming from all the mold in the bathroom. The lights barely worked. The patio in the pictures is just a garbage pile. The beds were incredibly hard and to top it off the manager just told us to get lost when we made this clear. We left a day early and asked for a refund for this day were told that since we had allready payed we were out of luck.

With fairly minimal effort /expense this could be very pleasant. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The pools are good and the location excellent. However our bathroom had broken fittings making it hard to shower and the shower cubicle was very mouldy. Also what could be a nice patio area by the pool is neglected scrub/wasteland with a couple of dirty old plastic chairs and nowhere to sit. These details drag down one's experience and makes it feel rather overpriced. It would be so easy to sort things out - why don't they bother?

The location was perfect! Close to everything.The staff was also very kind. One day we hung a 'do not disturb' sign by accident. They still left a bag with fresh towels, 2 bottles of water, extra tea bags/coffee, etc., and toilet paper for us in front of the door.We booked the deluxe king-size bed with pool access. However, the room, as a review mentioned, is a bit dark, and the bathroom (especially the shower) needs renovation.

The location is excellent with food, bars, beaches and shops just a stones throw away.Rooms were neat and spacious. However, the bathrooms could be improved with a ventilation system or a window.The lighting in the room was not the best, making it feel very dark even with all lights on (hence the 4stars).

A very affordable hotel, not expensive, worth the money if there are no other optionsThere is a bad smell from the outside because they work there with food in unfavorable conditions in the heat and the room is dark other than that the room is fine and there is hot water but with a weak current

The rooms are decent in terms of cleanliness. However the price is high compared to the view and the location. The reception staff are unfriendly. But the housekeepers are at the top. The pool is salty and ok but the outside is awful.

-Planned stay: 9 nights, checked out early after 7 nights- Room: Spacious, but furnishings outdated- Bathroom: Small, shower problematic with insufficient water output- Outdoor facilities: Did not meet expectations or pictures shown- Decision: Check out earlier despite full advance paymentWe had mixed feelings about our stay. We originally planned to stay 9 nights, but after 7 nights we decided to leave early.On the positive side, the room was spacious. The equipment is already very old. However, we had some challenges with the bathroom. It was very small and the shower proved particularly problematic. The water output was inadequate and the shower head did not hold properly, making it difficult to use.A decisive factor in our decision to shorten our stay was the condition of the outdoor facilities. Unfortunately, our expectations, shaped by the pictures we saw beforehand, were not met. The area was not what we expected which led to some disappointment.Despite our prepayment for the entire scheduled time, we felt forced to accept our losses and leave the hotel early. It is unfortunate that our experience did not meet our expectations and we hope the feedback will help provide a more pleasant experience for future guests.
