I went to the Hostel to check it out, with the intention of hosting, of course.It was almost 9 o'clock, they went to call the tall, thin girl or boy, I don't know!She came in a bad mood, totally impatient, very, very stressed.He made faces at everything.My English isn't the best but with his stressed way of speaking I didn't understand anything!She definitely didn't want to be there, she was disrespectful, prejudiced and infinitely unprepared to serve people if she didn't rest, that's not my problem.As for the place, I wouldn't know how to evaluate it because she (his) left upset.I know the owners don't read it but it was horrible.

I found Blanco Central Hostel after a bad experience with another hostel and it was a RELIEF. It was very comfortable and clean with such a good price. In a great location in the center close to everything but still quiet enough to have a good rest. The staff were always very kind and friendly to me and made my check-in and stay easy. I would come back without doubt.

My experience here was not good, but I also realise there were circumstances out of the control of the hostel. There was a major storm in the night which meant that the electricity, power and water had gone off. This made the room unbearably hot as the fan and aircon stopped working. The toilet could not be flushed, the sink could not be used and the shower was also not working. The room was ok, and if the circumstances were different it probably would have been a decent place to stay. But I personally would not go back. I only stayed here one night and couldn’t leave fast enough.

I love the Blanco hostels; the staff is so helpful and friendly. There are many activities and many people to meet on Phi Phi. The rooms were quiet and clean and the location is right in the middle of the action on Phi Phi.

We stayed here for my 25th birthday and had the best time. Friendly staff, clean rooms and the pub crawl was the best one ive done in thailand. We also did the party boat tour through the hostel which is a must if your staying here.

It’s been a great stay so far and it was so good that we are booking more nights to stay. The front desk has been fantastic and super helpful with activities to do and things to see. The location is perfect as you are so close to everything.

The he rooms were super cold with thin blankets and the staff kept the remote for the A/C I also noticed the water we were showering with was salt water and dirty yellow. The staff is really cool. And the party boat was also a blast. I was there the same month as songkran so maybe that’s why we had saltwater to shower with.

Was only supposed to stay here one night! Enjoyed it so much I extended for two other nights which was very easy to extend! Staff were absolutely amazing to deal with! Location is great not very far from things however far enough so you don’t hear the party and able to sleep! Room was very clean and well kept! Many transfers and activities, easy to book from reception! Will definitely recommend to others I know coming to phi phi!

I don’t normally write reviews, but on this occasion I thought it was necessary because of how helpful Bud, the receptionist was. On my second night there my friend came back to her room to find someone on the top bunk of her bunk bed having a little bit of the hanky panky rumble tumble times. Now although this isn’t necessarily the most outrageous of sinful acts in a cheap hostel in Ko phi phi, the fact that the pair refused to stop when she asked is a tad impolite to say the least. But luckily Bud (the receptionist) was at hand and swung into action, she burst into the room and told the filthy, grimy, low born, invalids that they shouldn’t have guests from outside the hostel and made the intruder walk that oh so shameful walk-of-shame. Bud was then kind enough to give my friend a new room and refunded her for the nights stay. Bud your an absolute legend!

LOCK YOUR THINGS UP THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!At first we thought this was a really friendly hostel and staff were very welcoming. We booked the boat party through them so they knew we were out for the day (everyone in our room was also on this boat party). When we got back from the boat party I said to my friend “someone has been through my bag”. As our passports had been taken at arrival I hadn’t locked my bag up because I forgot I had money in there. All of my smaller bags in my rucksack had been opened and when it came to paying at the end all my money had been stolen from my documents folder (£130). When I was stuck at the end she said to me ‘you can’t trust your friends and you can’t trust the staff’. She then proceeded to get very angry at me even though I had never accused her of anything.Very very rude at check out and extremely aggressive.As soon as we left the property she blocked me from being able to leave a review on hostel world.
