This is the first time that I have been really embarrassed to post an opinion, I took the time to post a thoughtful and constructive opinion.The positive points:The staff is charming, the breakfast is very goodThe negative points:Very dark room, lighting needs to be reviewed, I read the answers on the desired atmosphere, but leave the choice to your customers to be able to have light if they wish.Of our 3 nights we have 2 nights, a room with terrace, surface area of the room on booking announced at 37 m2, actual measurement 26 m2, report made on booking, the difference in surface area is considerable. The terrace is unusable and ridiculously small.The ground floor rooms are surrounded by a wall, our first room the wall was 1 meter from the window, the one with a terrace was 2 meters maximum from the window, it looks a bit like a cave.Given the price of the establishment which is positioned very high-end for Thailand, the rooms despite a beautiful decoration lack finishing, the cleaning in the corners could be thorough.This hotel reminds me of a "bobo" hotel, I think there is an error on the business plan and on the price positioning.I have slept in hotels in Thailand much better and for much less money.I would have liked to give a rating of 2.5 (just average) but this is not possible on Google, but I really cannot give a 3.

Really amazing place to stay! It is so tranquil and it speaks the story of Chiang Saen really well. I like how they use recycled teak in their construction of the hotel rooms retaining the beauty of traditional Chiang Saen buildings. So worth the money! Definitely will come back again!

The place is probably the most beautiful among all the accommodations in that area. Impressed with the way of thinking and great care in decorating the place Casual atmosphere But it's private. The bed is comfortable too.Below is a restaurant where outsiders can come and eat.But only one thing. What needs to be improved is the water. I can't choose whether to take a warm shower. There's only hot and cold. I can't adjust it at all.

Mixing traditional Thai style with solid structure.Garden is beautiful and serene, right next some temple in ruins with a majestic Buddha.We didn't stay at the hotel or try the spa. Didn't stay there but did enjoy their excellent restaurant. The best I've tried in Chiang Saen for authentic Northern and other Thai dishes. High quality ingredients and cooking. Nice ambience both indoors and outdoors. Nicely decorated.
