Good for stay less days that you can.the bathroom its downstairs and One its very sticky.the bed seem of wood too tight.and the First night I cannot sleep cause was too hot.but the personal its nice and you can have free coffee and u can rent a scooter or a tour.

Review of 3 days and 2 nights from March 9th to 11th, 2023'sofia hostel'A place that also offers ‘Lalia group’ toursLocated 350m away from Chiang Rai Bus Terminal 1Night Bazaar is also close by.Go up the stairs to the 2nd floor twin roomTwo single beds side by sideThere is a fanNo windows (no ventilation due to no windows, stuffy)Towels providedThere are two toilets and shower rooms on the first floor and one small sink.Hot water comes out well, drainage is good and water pressure is good.If only there were separate shoes for the bathroom.The bathroom floor is bound to be dirty as people use shoes they used to wear outside.A room that is very poorly soundproofedI can hear a conversation in the ‘dome’ room right next to me.The sound of people passing by stepping on the floor can be heard and resonates well.However, it is very quiet from night to morning, so you can sleep deeply.No mosquitoesRefrigerator available on the first floorI put in two 400ml bottles of water, but they all disappeared the next day.Not a safe refrigeratorIt seems to be popular as a tour product, and quite a lot of people come here.friendly staffA good hostel in Chiang Rai

Cheap but cmon you aren’t that poor. You came to Thailand so you have the money to go some place better. The beds are really hard, the bathroom is really uncomfortable to use and it’s quite impossible to feel comfortable in that place.

There were cockroaches in the kitchen, toilets and near the rooms. They did not give us the room we had paid for and one of the beds was harder than a rock.Of course, the workers are very nice, but unfortunately we won't be back.

Worst place I ever been to. Bed bugs, cockroaches, dirty bathroom, dirty kitchen, dirty room. The place smells like pee and there is a weird guy sleeping in the entrance. The vibe of the place doesn’t feel comfortable. Pay a little more and find a safer place!

Ok, this is the cheapest solution in Chiang Rai and probably worldwide, but it's not worth it. You can find better solutions for little money more, especially in Thailand.Dirty, hot, without windows, uncomfortable beds, and an awful shared bathroom. Drinking water was almost boiling, no kidding.Extremely young girls are entitled to the reception they were nice and did their best to help us: the atmosphere was quite suspicious, I do hope for them to find better work.

The owner is absolutely horrible. He is super provocative and lies about the state of the room. In addition, he sits all day on his mobile (during the time he is now there). Here he could perhaps have used the time to make the place ready. In addition, he interferes in everything you do, and has not the remotest idea of what service is.There are bed bugs in the beds, the ceiling is dripping because it is falling apart, and the windows/mosquito nets cannot be closed properly. We were lucky to get a fly swatter with power in it so we could just kill some of the bed bugs and whatever else was in the bed.The toilet is downstairs and extremely disgusting. The same is the kitchen or whatever you call it. Overall it's a really bad place that really needs a loving hand with the staff. Stay away!!

They refused to give the room I had booked. They took me to another hostel of inferior quality across the street.|It was all dirty, muddy, thr bathrooms were disgusting and the room smelled.|I woke up covered in bed bug bites. Avoid this hostel!

Booked a 4 bed dorm and give a 10 bed dorm, but the worst is that the bed was full of bedbugs! Didn't sleep all the night and killed at least (without exaggerate) 30 bedbugs, ended up trying to sleep on the common area couch

Great price but even with the aircon the room is so hot. Also when i came back from a bar at 1am someone was in my bed....... so i had to sleep in another bed that i dont know was clean and the curtain doesnt cover the length of the bed, only half.... free water tea and coffee is only in the morning not all day ive had much better Professional hostels for the same price, ill have to look around the area for a new one tomorrow.

The place is very dirty, the bathrooms smell very bad. And the blankets smell bad too!!!. You have to take off your shoes to enter the room and the floor is disgusting.
