Palin House is paradise. It is a very interesting concept, a very comfortable 3-star hotel, with views. The owners do not live there, therefore it is not a homestay. You live the authentic Thai experience. The owners and employees make it a priority to make you happy. If you need them, they are there, if not, they leave you to your own devices. In the morning they will be more present taking care of the facilities and offering you breakfast, but in the afternoon they let you enjoy the place, without being on top of it. Of course, they are very close and just by calling them, they will help you with everything in a matter of minutes. They think of everything. The very spacious rooms, perfectly furnished, with beautiful views of two gardens are sparkling. Of course they have air conditioning and ceiling fan, refrigerator, safe, and the shower is very spacious. I visited Casa Palin in the rainy season, when I woke up in the morning I found an umbrella next to the door and they even lent me some flip flops so I wouldn't get my feet wet. The most common thing is that you hire a guide or a taxi to take you everywhere, since the hotel is 2 km from the center. Walking to the center is also very pleasant (approx. 20 minutes). The Grab application is very useful, any time you need to go to the White or Blue Temple, you can order a car that will take you for €3-4. Many thanks to this enthusiastic and elegant family for making my stay so pleasant.

Spent 2 nights here. Really relaxing place, great homestay & amenities to furniture, felt like it was home, really good airbnb vibe. The host was friendly and waited for us to check in. Will visit again.

• If there were a sixth star, I would give it.• The balcony is very comfortable for relaxing.• There were a few mosquitoes, but I understand that it’s a tropical country and it’s the rainy season.• The staff provided excellent and friendly service.• The breakfast was delicious.• I slept well, and the location is close to many attractions and relaxation spots like spas.• There’s a very friendly and affectionate cat.

Stayed for 2 nights, clean accommodations, reception staff, owners, and staff are all lovely, polite, and very friendly. Boutique style accommodation, homey, feels like going back to relax at grandma's house. The room walls may be a little thin. (But the room next door spoke too loudly) There was a call to notify the accommodation to help make arrangements. The staff took action very quickly. When I woke up in the morning, everyone came and apologized again for the loud noise, even though it wasn't the accommodation's fault at all, but the service mind was excellent. Awesome. I really admire it. The accommodation has contacts for renting motorbikes. You can also send it to your accommodation. This one is very convenient. There are many entrances to the accommodation if you look at Google maps. Driving a motorbike at night might take you along a small alley near the temple. But just drive and you'll know the route yourself. The accommodation is considered not far from the city. You can still drive to Singha Park and all that. Overall, I'm impressed. If you go to Chiang Rai again I'll stop by to rest.

Not worth the price! We booked a suite with balcony, it actually no balcony, just a window. The property is almost rundown and overgrown, no proper public area, lots of mosquitoes…. The dining space is actually the reception office, it’s quite small, the pictures are unreal. The room are very dark. There is a very stiff and narrow stair whith is not safe for children.

It’s a beautiful accommodation in nature.It's a bit far from the city center, so it's quiet, and both the interior and exterior of the building are pretty.The breakfast was delicious so I ate it every day.The hotel staff are all friendly, and you can even see cute and charming cats🩵I will stay again if I go to Chiang Rai 🙂

The hotel is very beautiful. There are a lot of shady trees. The highlight is that it is quiet and private. The room is spacious and has space to sit on the sofa. What I like most is the balcony that extends out of the room. You can sit and relax and read a book. Taking photos came out beautiful. The receptionist is very good. Especially the little orange cat, Moo Noom, so cute. Cat lovers like us fall in love with it.

It is a place to stay in Chiang Rai that impressed us. warm welcome The accommodation building is beautifully decorated. It's contemporary. The first minute you walk into the room, you'll smell a relaxing aroma. The placement of the lights creates a dim atmosphere. Suitable for relaxation After taking a shower, lying on the bed was melting. Breakfast was fully prepared. The restaurant is beautiful. Will come back. It's a place to rest in a save zone 🙂

The hotel is a small hotel with only a few rooms, but it's cute and the staff are lovely and hospitable. Breakfast is a set menu to choose from but delicious. Parking is not far from the center. Pets are not allowed here. But in the hotel area you will see little orange cats. It should be the cat from the accommodation. It walks around, has soft fur, and is cute. It should appeal to cat lovers.

The bathroom drain stinks, so we had to constantly keep the bathroom fans on. Otherwise, everything else was perfect!The staff were friendly & attentive. They remembered my preference of non spicy breakfast from day 1 & subsequently made my breakfast with no chilli, without me reminding them.Breakfast were tasty & cooked upon our arrival.Room was big & clean but I personally hoped for more lights in the room. Beds were comfortable.Location was not the best, you'd probably need a car to get in, but on the plus side, it's quiet at night.

Enjoyed my three night stay at this property while holidaying in Chiang Rai. The hotel had a homely vibe, room was very clean and comfortable to stay in. The owners and staff were very friendly and kind to us, and breakfast was very good (there was a choice of western and Thai dishes).Only downside was that this hotel is located in a very quiet and dark street, with nothing much around it. But this shouldn't be a problem if you are driving (it's about a 5-min drive to Central Chiang Rai mall), and there is free parking at the property.Overall, a good place to stay in Chiang Rai. Also, shoutout to the hotel cat who welcomed us back to the hotel every night!

Came to stay on 17-18 Oct. '23. Cute school, very comfortable rooms. But the bathroom is small and doesn't have any wet partitions, making it all wet. Not very impressed with the welcome of the school from the moment we arrived. But the housekeeper smiles and talks nicely.
