Amazing, lovely place, highly recommend.We got welcome drinks which was the best coconut we had in Thailand.We could feel and see how the owners here take care of the place seriously and well.Every part of the place was very well taken care of, and beautiful.The location was on the upper part of the town so we were a bit concerned before we book here BUT from the bus terminal it only takes about 10-15min which is abt $4 for the bolt taxi.Would come back to Chiang rai just to stay more in Rommai Villa.🌴We traveled through Bangkok Chiang mai and Chiang rai, and this was one of the best place we stayed in.

This was a wonderful place to stay outside of Chiang Rai. Very easy to come and go, beautiful grounds, amazing service. Breakfast every morning, bikes available as needed. Room was very clean, comfortable bed, very relaxing nice amenities. Would absolutely recommend staying here if traveling in the area.

A beautiful quiet chill out place. Staff made me some food outside of kitchen hours as I had arrived starving. Wonderful place a little out of town so be prepared to drive to the sites. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Little paradise on the outskirts of Chiang Rai. Amazing hospitality and rooms. Great location to explore the countryside yet in reach of town. Plenty high quality food and coffee spots around nearby university.

We spent 3 days in the beautiful Rommai Villa. The hosts are very nice and helpful arranging a daytour to the Golden Triangle for us. As we didn't have a car and as the accommodation is a bit outside Chiang Rai they also arranged taxi into town. Our villa was very comfortable amidst a tropical garden. We also liked the homemade breakfast. We highly recommend Rommai Villa and if we ever return to Chiang Rai, we'll try to spend some days there.

We travelled 2 months across Thailand and this place was definitely the best hotel we stayed at. The bungalow and athmosphere are just amazing. There is so much heart and love for detail in this place and you can really feel the passion of the host family in building everything themselves and making sure all guests feel at home all the time.We can also highly recommed having dinner there. the food is great and they even set up a table for us on the balcony of the bungalow.

The hotel is next to the lake! Navigation is accurate and easy to find! The boss family is great! A refreshing coconut was given as a gift on the first day! The service is also very good! It’s truly a place for soul cleansing! Super relaxing! The price is right too! Like it!

This is the 8th accommodation in Thailand, but this is not a hotel. It's heaven. It is paradise on earth.It's quiet. Only the sounds of pretty birds, insects, and water can be heard softly.I regret only booking here for 2 days.The owner is so cute and conscientious. The landlady is lovely, and the son continues to clean diligently.🤣I especially recommend it to solo travelers who need a break. Healing in heaven.(Of course, I would like to recommend it to everyone, and I would be happier if I went alone)

I really like it. I can see the beautiful garden from the entrance. When you enter, it's like coming to the Thai house of your dreams. Shady atmosphere The trees in the garden were well taken care of and very clean.This accommodation is really suitable for relaxation.The owner takes care of him very well. like one of our relativesWho likes Thai houses? We stayed 5 days. The staff was so friendly, the homemade breakfast was delicious, and the property was absolutely gorgeous! This is definitely a slice of heaven! We will definitely be back the next time our travels bring us to Chiang Rai!

Great, and I mean great hotel. Lovely rooms, wonderful hosts and excellent amenities / guest rooms. Ideal for a weekend get away or traveling with your spouse/ significant other when visiting Chiang Rai. I loved this place and will happily go back anytime that I am in Chiang Rai. Thank you!

A dream. Even though we arrived very late, we were warmly welcomed. The hotel is like a green oasis. Plants and ponds everywhere. Our bungalow was unique. Everything was super clean and very tastefully decorated. The breakfast, which was served in the middle of the green splendor, was very tasty. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was very, very romantic. The bikes, which you can borrow for free, are in good shape. There is a lake and a park right in front of the hotel, which you can easily explore by bike. Any time.

We had a great stay in this small, upscale little property located in Ban Du, about 20 minutes north of Chiang Rai.Room: we booked the Superior King and loved it. Our room was spacious, airy, nicely decorated and had a splendid view of the koi pond and bridge. The room and the grounds had a couple of kitschy design elements, but they were more than compensated for by the lovely landscaping and artistic attention to detail. The shower and the bed were both outstanding, and there were ample electrical outlets. One issue, and it was significant: Internet through WiFi was inadequate, unusable at times, often requiring me to turn off WiFi to go online. Not a deal breaker, but definitely a dissatisfier.Staff: the family who own the villa are kind, helpful and attentive. The daughter speaks good English and was a delight to interact with.Food: each day you pick your breakfast and time to eat for the next day. A robust American platter (eggs, meats and toast) is available, as are a number of quite respectable Thai dishes. Dinner can be ordered (we didn't) in advance. A number of small restaurants border the lake, which is within easy walking distance.Location: we had no interest in spending time in the town of Chiang Rai, and had a car, so it was perfect for exploring the many sights to the north and west.Overall, I highly recommend this villa and enjoyed my 5-night stay.
