This place is not worth the money spent. If you are going for the views and only the view then go ahead.Pros: swimming pool with view and the staff is generally friendlyCons: The AC gets shut down completely during the hottest parts of daytime as a daily routine. There is no fridge available in the rooms. Keep in mind you’re in a resort island where there’s limited shops and such, everytime you want to fill your water bottle, they charge you for room temperature luke warn water. when asked for Ice they charge for that too. Need some snorkeling gear to see fish? That too! they also are not cleaned after use. It’s upto your own discretion to clean and use. Every little thing is a extra added sprinkle of small charges.It just feels very tacky and cheap that they would resort to that rather than charging more to begin with and providing all these as amenities.

Brilliant... I highly recommend staying here. The rooms are great, the air conditioning ok, the shower water perfect, the staff is great and attentive and the breakfast is great.the swimming pool is just magnificent and the view incredible... just missing a small fridge to drink cold water and a little bit of latency at times with the wifi but nothing that will spoil your vacation 😉

Pros:The view and the sea are stunning.Cons:The island is really focused solely on tourists with no locals.The hotel will work for you if you are after a resort type vacation.The under 3 years old rule mislead us a little bit as we wrongly assumed this would be a child free / quiet hotel. This was our mistake of course. The hotel is definitely kids friendly and was full of playful kids at the pool throughout the day. Best to avoid the rooms close from the pool.Staff is helpful but slow which is totally fine.

Beautiful rooms, great pool, entire complex in a pleasant, local style. Restaurant OK, no wide sandy beach, but outdoor areas of the complex directly on the sea, strong tides. Some things in the outdoor facilities could still be optimized, e.g. new loungers.

The pool is exceptional: clean, beautifully oriented towards the sea and pleasantly sized. There should be more loungers with shaded areas, but that is practically the only improvement request. The price/performance ratio is more than reasonable.

A paradise of classic cabins on the tranquil island of Koh NgaiThe Coco Cottage Resort on the Thai island of Kos Ngai offers a dreamlike setting with its classic bamboo huts that perfectly reflect the original feeling. Despite their simplicity, the cabins are surprisingly comfortable and offer an authentic experience.The service at Coco Cottage is excellent and the staff are extremely accommodating. We felt warmly welcome from the first moment. The breakfast exceeded our expectations and was not only rich but also incredibly tasty.The hotel complex impresses with a spacious and beautiful pool area that invites you to relax. The numerous loungers offer enough space to enjoy the tropical sun. The overall atmosphere is very calm, which contributes to a relaxing stay.However, it is advisable to pay attention to the advertised low and high tide times, especially if you want to walk on the beach. At low tide the sea retreats a few hundred meters, while at high tide access to the beach is restricted.Overall, Coco Cottage Resort is an excellent choice for travelers looking for authentic and relaxed accommodation. The combination of traditional cottages, excellent service and idyllic surroundings make it a recommended destination on Kos Ngai Island.
