The placement on the map is not good, it is a few meters before the tropical. The bungalows are perfect, comfortable, equipped (fridge, kettle, etc.) and well finished! (View of a building professional) which is rare enough in Asia to be underlined. The welcome is warm and you are left alone afterwards. The setting is magical in the middle of the fishing village, a change of scenery guaranteed!! I loved it

- Room was about 15 m or less (it's supposed to be 30 meter)- there was no AC despite it was mentioned in amenities. There is only one small window in the room so leaving it open, won't really help!- Internet was not working, I informed the staff they gave me new router, it was super slow (about 50KB/s!)- it's supposed to be Seaview, but fisherman put their equipment and fishing net, in front of the room. So the area was saturated with fish and bad smell. And because there was no AC, I had to leave the window open which makes my room really smelly!- when guests when guests moving on second walk or do something on second floor, you hear it as they are jumping up and down, it is really loud and annoying especially when you're trying to sleep. But the worst irritating part was how Agoda, responded to my raised help request! It took about one day, 5 or 6 Times I explained everything from the beginning for different agents. Their response time was too much, and in the middle of every conversation, the agent get disappeared and new agent connected to me and ask everything again. And finally after one day, they give me only one choice! to get about 10- 15% of cash back!!!My worst five days in the last few months in Thailand

The Koh Muk Rem Ley bungalows are very clean, beautifully simple with a very large and comfortable bed. We intended to stay for 3 nights but prolonged for another 3 because we loved it so much. Our bungalow had a beautiful view of the sea with a sunrise view. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and have put up new curtains. The beach is not really suitable for swimming, but this is not a problem as you can cycle to a large swimming beach (Charlie Beach) within 10 minutes. Restaurants and mini markets are just round the corner. We would recommend the accommodation to anyone.

It has been a real pleasure to spend 10 days in Rem Ley. We booked for 3 days, but we felt so comfortable both there and on the island that we extended it for 7 more days. The family that runs it is lovely (special mention to the middle sister who is in charge of breakfast ❤️), they make you feel super comfortable, they are extremely friendly and help you in any way they can.The place is super super clean. It looks like it is newly built, so I hope they keep it this clean over time.Every day they replenished our water bottles and every two days they gave us toilet paper, gel, shampoo and a change of towels. We made the reservation with breakfast included and it was quite complete: coffee with milk (all powder to dissolve in water), scrambled egg, two pieces of toast, butter and jam, orange juice (industrial and too sugary for my taste) and fruit. The location for me has been wonderful since you are in the small fishing village of the island, and it makes the stay more authentic. It is very close to the port, but a little further from Charlie beach. To make a point (which I hope you take as advice), the rooms of the two small studios are missing a curtain. We were on the upper floor but those on the ground floor did not have any privacy. Because of this, we improvised on our own, a “curtain” to also have less light early in the morning. The shower does not have hot water, and if you shower at night you may miss it.When we asked for the vegetarian option at breakfast, they modified it without a problem. But still, I think that in addition to a small piece of lettuce and tomato, they could have added something else or a larger portion. The wifi is very bad, despite having the device in the room, it barely worked.I advise bringing earplugs, since in the early morning there is a lot of dog barking, in addition to the crowing of roosters. (Clearly they are not responsible for any of that). If I returned to Koh Muk, I would repeat without hesitation. I think that on this island, fortunately little exploited by tourism, you can truly enjoy the great Thai friendliness with many smiles included.

Very, very friendly and personable host family. Everything was clean. Located right by the sea, but not necessarily a beach. You live here in the middle of the local population, which we really liked. There are various restaurants within walking distance. We would come back at any time.
