Disappointing that. We can't take alcohol in the home Stay.???. And double standard. For tourists..... Is a good place to develop terrorism. Dangerous...

Love the stay here, it is slap bang in the middle of the island, so super easy to get to either side dependant on if we wanted to go local or touristy

I had a lovely time in Koh Libong and at the sunrise homestay. The mother and son team that runs the homestay are delightful. They made me feel at home and looked after me during my stay with lifts around the island, bike hire, and delicious breakfast. Everyone on the island is so friendly and the scenery is stunning. A very special place.

For local homestay sectionThis amazing place makes me feel like home. I had visited this place only 2 days and 1 night during Apr 2023, however, I can ensure that you will enjoy staying, talking, doing like you are home.There is a kitchen that you can cook by yourself or ask owner to cook for you.Elder woman owner of this place is very kind, willing to help, and full of story.The place is not near the beach, however, who cares, where the beach without rock is Tung Kaya beach, and no homestay is placed near it also.Lastly, they are also having places next to the beach hahaa with the same name as this one

It's a real homestay, because you share the house with the owner, who is a sweet and lovely elderly woman. We appreciate her friendly behavior, the cleanness of the bedroom, her kindness. She use to work alone, despite of her age and her slim body. Still now we wonder how can she do all that heavy job alone! Bathroom are shared with other guests and should be more cleaned, but we don't put the blame to her because the hygienic level is still acceptable. She charged us 600 baht per night with free coffee h24. It has been a nice experience.

It's a true homestay. Good location but recommend renting a bike. My husband and I already had a motorbike, and it is the best way to explore the island. The host (the mother of the owner) was very kind and helpful. I really appreciated the frozen drinking water she gave us on our arrival. At that time we were staying, the owner wasn't there but he communicated with us in English via WhatsApp. I just wish I could speak better thai, so we could understand more (we speak a little of thai but used google translator quite a bit)! They arranged a boat ride for dugong sighting for us, and we were very lucky that we saw two dugongs! Although the island is known for the dugongs, I understand any wildlife sighting can't be guaranteed. So it felt special to spot two of them. I recommend staying at this place if you're willing to speak and learn a bit of thai language.
