We stayed here for 6 nights and had an incredible time. We loved this hotel, it's less then 15 min drive from the city center, but the hotel is in the country side, for us much nicer then waking up from the noise of the street in the center. The hotel was very beautiful with a nice swimming pool, delicious homemade breakfast every day but what was standing out the most was the great service, the people of the hotel pick us up from the airport, brought us back, and brought us to the center whenever we needed. The hotel owner is a very sweet and kind person, if I come back to Chiang Mai, I would have no doubt staying here again. One of the best hotels I have been in (I travel quite a lot)

the staff were super nice and so hospitable - they even picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station a few kilometres away! They even helped us out when the Grab food delivery drivers got the address wrong. The free bikes to rent were a lovely bonus too and the breakfast was nice - they also had some freebies in the hallway which was great. the cookies they make are wonderful! It's a lovely family-run place and the wifi speed is around 159MB down and 89 up - perfect for when I had a few business meetings to do remotely. When we checked into the place, they offered us earplugs because there was a construction site nearby. The rooms were sizeable and we loved that there were charging sockets right behind our heads, meaning that the charging cables didn't need to go far or even under our pillows. it's the little things! We also always do a bed bug check in every room we visit with a UV torch and it passed with flying colours. The A/C was amazing too! They even arranged for an amazing taxi driver to take us to the waterfalls an hour away as well as a few other sites. However, there are some things that I have to note. The noise that came in the morning was not the construction - it was the monks banging the gong of the temple really loudly at sunrise and the dogs singing with them always - if we had better soundproofing this would never be an issue, of course! We never got to sleep past 5am every single morning.part of the bathroom felt like it was being disintegrated which wasn't ideal.the wifi at times did feel unstable.personal preference, the fish pond is not something I love for ethical reasons but I've recently become a bit of a hippie so there's that.

The online reviews unfortunately say very different things from what we experienced. The people are very nice and helpful. So we were suddenly able to stay an extra night and they took us to the airport. The girls work very hard all day long.Unfortunately, we are really not happy with the room. We walked in and there was a very sweet smell, and you often already know why... The walls are painted in a certain way that doesn't look very clean. Also stains everywhere on the walls that you don't want to think about. We thought it didn't look clean because of this, in addition to the cobwebs and dust on the shelf at the headboard. The bathroom is very small with a very low sink that did not drain properly. The shower head did not stay in place properly and the water did not get hot. We also had a very small soft trickle. The beds were so hard that we could not sleep the first night due to back and hip pain. We therefore removed the duvet from the fitted sheet and placed it underneath us. The cleaning girls took over this, so we slept better the rest of the night.Occasionally there was a sewage smell in the room and people were allowed to smoke on both the balcony and on the terraces around the rooms, which regularly made the room smell of smoke. It is therefore very noisy because not everything closes properly. The balcony is very uncomfortable because it is completely closed with wooden planks.Breakfast is freshly baked for you, unfortunately nothing Thai: eggs fried in different ways or pancakes/waffles. There are always bananas ready and you can have coffee/tea throughout the day.The pool didn't look that attractive. Loose tiles, for example. And the icing on the cake was that we woke up at 5.30 am by drops on our heads. Turns out there was a huge leak during a rain shower. When reporting in the morning they reacted somewhat strangely. It seemed like they already knew this.Location is a bit further away from the center, but quieter, unfortunately they were busy with renovations next to the hotel. We rented a scooter in the center for every day.You understand that we have very mixed feelings, but we would not recommend this accommodation for its comfort and tranquility. It really needs a renovation.

It feels like you are temporarily part ofnl the family. The surrounding area is beautiful; one of our favourite places in Thailand. We also really love the breakfast!

Great accommodation. A free airport transfer and a shuttle service to the old town or other destinations in Chiang Mai are offered. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is a bit away from the hustle and bustle and there is no problem with the shuttle. The rooms are very clean with a fridge and safe. Pool ideal for refreshing.

Quiet hotel with friendly service. Breakfast according to the menu, cleanliness of the room just fine, they lent us a scooter directly at the hotel for 200 B per day, otherwise the center would be out of hand. The bed was very hard, harder than I have ever experienced. There was a smart TV with good Wi-Fi. Living at Wat's meant waking up at 5 in the morning when the bells rang, and that really every day.
