I really, really wanted to like staying here. It’s a fantastic whimsical creation, but unfortunately scores very low on comfort.The rooms sacrifice style for practicality, and the interior is just not thought out well.The floors are a deathtrap made of incredibly slippery laminate especially upstairs, steep and narrow stairs, the sleeping area is dark with bad lighting and hard mattresses on the floor, and the bathroom reeked of sewerage likely as its lacking a water trap. We also arrived during cold season and hot water in the shower was sorely missed.Plus sides are the hosts made check-in/out easy and are very accommodating, and the grounds are well-kept. The wall art is also very well done and adorable.I love cute ideas, but it should not sacrifice on function. It’s a unique stay and I recommend it for breaking out of the ordinary, but don’t expect to be comfortable.I found the 1200thb per night to be a tad much considering the other affordable and comfortable options around.Do the mushrooms justice 🍄🍄🍄

I saw someone sharing the Mushroom House on the Internet. When I came to Thailand for the first time, I arranged to stay here for two days. Although it is not in the city center, it is quite convenient to ride a motorcycle. A password is given so that guests can check in at any time. When entering the gate I saw the housekeeping staff coming to help unlock the door, and the mushroom house M3 we stayed in was super cute! As soon as I entered, I saw hand-painted walls and a fully equipped kitchenette with dishes, microwave, cups, refrigerator, and ice water in the refrigerator. It was very considerate. There was a sofa and bathroom on the first floor, and the bedroom was on the second floor. , it’s quite spacious. Next time I have a chance to travel with my family, I hope to book a larger mushroom house. It’s really nice to take photos~~~😍😍😍

If you are looking for a unique and peaceful place to stay, with one of the most beautiful gardens you'll ever see, then look no further. The mushroom houses are so cute and comfortable, each has a fridge, kettle and microwave. The futons upstairs are very comfy and the Aircon works well. The shower is really great, good pressure. There is also a communal kitchen which is well equipped, with a big fridge for storing your food. It also has a pizza oven and barbeque facility. Washing machines are available on site as well as filtered drinking water. It's only a ten minute drive to the city and just such a peaceful place, with wonderful birdlife and squirrels to come back to at the end of the day and the most beautiful cat. There is also a river running though the garden, and a beautiful dome for meditation. I really loved my 6 week stay here.

Leafy Greens is the place to stay! One of the most sensational places to stay in Chiangmai. A magic and unique atmosphere, surrounded by plants and flowers, you can spend your nights inside your own cute “mushroom house” or for bigger families you can choose the “snail dome”. The owners are just the most beautiful souls you can meet, they are passionate and helpful making your stay amazing. Stay as long as possible, its a home away from home. The place was built for meditation purposes, so you can find a fabulous place to meditate and practice yoga the “Lotus dome”. With a short scooter or car ride, Leafy Greens is close to the Botanical gardens, Zoo, Karen village, Tiger kingdom, Elephant poo-paper, Old town Chiang Mai and markets.

The mushroom-shaped house is very special. It also has a beautiful courtyard where there are cats who love to act coquettishly. There is a coin-operated washing machine. Although there is no dryer, there is a spacious clothes drying area. The hot sun in Thailand is very efficient for drying clothes, and the staff are also very friendly and kind. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. It just so happened that there was a Thai cooking class arranged during this trip. After bringing back the food you cooked, you can keep it in the refrigerator and reheat it in the microwave the next day. Although drinking water is not provided here, you can buy it at the supermarket in the gas station at the alley, which is quite convenient.

We stayed two nights - one in Peanut House, one in Mushroom houses 3 & 4. Check in and out was easy. Hosts had great communication. Place is a nice respite from the busy city. Gracious manager at the front went above and beyond to help us make some local phone calls in Thai. Great coffee, too!

Mushroom houses really cool. Beds made for the young. Away from town center, so hard to do things. Has a fridge. Air-conditioned. WiFi. Shower cool. They have typical Thai chairs, so basically stadium chairs, but you sit on the floor. Otherwise no chairs or stools in the room. Table and chairs in outside common area. For the right adventurer, a great place. For the over 60s person, find a place with a good bed and chairs. Can only walk to the women's prison and a few gas stations. A few Thai restaurants within walking distance. They didn't seem to have the traffic to assure us that we wouldn't get sick there. Go if you are young and love the cats wandering around. This would be a great place for you. Our daughter says it is a whimsicle place in the middle of a city. A respite for young travelers.
