In one word, it was the best homestay. It is only written in Thai, but the reading is sǎay dɔɔy homestay.◾️Good points・High ground where you can see the morning sun, good scenery・There are no insects・Room is clean・Water area is clean and odorless・Hot water comes out, strong water pressure- Plenty of amenities such as water, shampoo, body soap, and towels- Space outside the room is not small·Breakfast included・Staff's attitude is not bad・A large amount of extra moogata was ordered.・The surroundings are quiet・Can be booked on Agoda (advance payment required)◾️Unfortunate points・I can't speak English at allThere were almost no complaints.I made a reservation on Agoda about a month in advance. It was a weekday in December, but it cost just under 10,000 yen. It may have been a popular season as the surrounding accommodation facilities were fully booked.I was very nervous because there weren't many reviews on Agoda, other sites, or Google, but I decided to take the plunge and make a reservation because the photos posted looked like it was a fairly high place with a beautiful view.As a result, the view was very nice. There was almost no obstruction in front of me, and the scenery was very beautiful due to the high altitude. (The morning sun came out from around the shadow of the mountain on the left.)I looked at various facilities on the way there, but there were a lot of low places, so I recommend staying in a high place as much as possible when staying in Mont Chem! I highly recommend this place! The staff were very modest but kind. It seemed like they couldn't even understand the numbers in English, so it might be difficult if you can't speak Thai. However, I was able to use a translator, so I was able to make it work. All the other guests were Thai except us.Probably because we didn't speak the same language, they just handed us the key at check-in, and there was almost no explanation, but when we asked about things like mougata for dinner, they politely told us.No matter where you walk in Mont Chem, there are dome tents and cottages everywhere, and there seems to be an infinite number of accommodation options, but surprisingly there are many that are not registered on Agoda or Booking. As a foreign traveler who doesn't have a Thai bank account, the hurdles are high and I had a hard time finding a place to stay, but I was able to pay in advance through Agoda, and on the day I only paid the Moogata money in cash, so it went very smoothly. I was able to stay there and it was very helpful.I think the price of moogata was 400-500 baht for 2-3 people. (I forgot the price...)I was told that I could order until around 8pm.As soon as you ask, they will bring the complete set to you outside your room. I didn't have to worry about anything because they adjusted the fire etc. The quantity is also voluminous. It was delicious. In the morning, porridge and orange juice were brought to me just as the sun rose. It's probably around 7 o'clock. I wasn't specifically asked about the time, but since it's a place where you can clearly see the sunrise, all the guests in all the rooms got up early and watched the sunrise outside, so I think it will be served early. This was my first time going here as I am not familiar with the area of Mont Cham, but the location of this facility may not be the best in Mon Cham.I don't think it matters if it's a car. There was a kiosk selling beer, water, juice, sweets, and other small items at the front of another facility across the street, as well as souvenir wine. Other than that, there is a place about 5-10 minutes walk away (there is a slight up and down hill) where there are 3-4 small restaurants and shops in a row. There is also a new stylish cafe nearby. It wasn't particularly unsatisfactory if you wanted to spend a relaxing night there, but it seemed a little far from the flourishing area with more shops. This time I went without a rental car, but the location was not inconvenient. It takes about an hour to ride the Rottu (minivan) that departs from Chiang Mai city three times a day, and the company will pick you up in front of or near the hotel, so it's far from the Mong Chem parking lot (bus stop?) It seems like it was, but there was no problem at all. I was able to get through if I said sai doi.I don't think I'll be able to go there very often, but if I ever go to Chiang Mai or Mong Cham again, I'd like to come here again!
