Very fun experience!when I visit next year I will just want to make sure to bring these items:enough mosquito spray, mosquito coil, extra blankets for being on the porch hammock (they get wet being outside in the dew), hand warmer packets, extra charcoal to top up the meat-cooking clay pot (having that fire going was really fun), eye drops so the wind doesn't dry one's eyes out so fast while stargazing

I took another reviewer's advise and booked dome A9. The view was worth it. Driving to the accommodation was abit nerve wrecking for amateur. And we didn't expect so many accommodations up on the mountain. Thankfully, we were looking at mostly greenery as opposed to other tents. You can walk around and visit the other accommodations and cafes along the main street. Mookata can also be ordered but do note that they employed Burmese staff so if you can't speak Thai, communication is going to be an issue as they could not read Thai despite me translating what I needed. But the place was clean, toilet was clean and water was hot. So we don't have any complaints.

Very nice view. That’s probably the best feature for this property whereby not all Mon Jam accommodation has a good location. We were pleasantly surprised how much we like the experience as many reviews of MonJam is hit or miss. There are downsides though.The view is unobstructed and not looking at “another camp site”Facilities wise, it is a dome tent, window is clear plastic which means it is not very clear to see the view from inside the tent. Inside the tent has some musty smell. Bedding “look” clean but doesn’t have fresh smell. Electric socket is hard to access.Outside our tent got a kind of “day bed” which is very nice for us to watch sunrise. The tent is dated.Bathroom is outside the tent and once you shower, the floor is wet which means you need a slipper or your feet will freeze during the cold night.Drive access to the place is difficult, you need to maneuver the car into pretty tight alley, you should be a well seasoned driver.From car to room, downhill and uphill back with stairs. Dont bring a lot of luggage as it is not very accessible.Mookata dinner - pork is very plain, could do with some marinade but oh well, it’s the atmosphere that counts.We were there in Dec. while it was 9C at night, by morning 9 am the tent is HOT with sun beating down and nothing to do. One night is enough.

We went to stay here on September 16, 2021. The accommodation was very clean 😊 The receptionist provided very good service. We booked during the promotional period, accommodation price 1,300, free 1 set of grilled pork. It's very good. The atmosphere is quiet and private. The dome of the accommodation faces north. The view is great. You can only see mountains and flower gardens. The weather at night is cool and cool. I like it. In the morning, the fog was very thick. The weather was perfect, out of ten, not broken at all. In the morning there is porridge to eat as well. In conclusion, if anyone comes to visit Mon Jam and is looking for a place to stay, we recommend this place 👍🏻👍🏻 (The accommodation is next to Mon Ing Fa).

Came during the rainy season, strong wind, cold, very good atmosphere. I slept next to the flower garden. Come during this period and get free grilled pork too. Great value.

Very good atmosphere, beautiful view, cool weather, no need to turn on the air conditioner or fan at all. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, have hot water, towels, breakfast and grilled pork service delivered to the room. The walkway will be a bit steep. When I was young, I was able to walk comfortably. I took Grandma here. Grandma is strong and is slowly starting to walk. I wanted a good view and could sleep 3 people, so I booked room D9, a room on the far edge. The view was as good as I wanted.
