Ok so we found this little oasis on Booking .com. decent priced they have some rooms that are themed Although they say that they come with hot tub spas, you need to choose wisely to which room you want as the more dearer they are the better and bigger type of room you get Eg, bigger hot tub/ jacuzzi. The staff are so nice and helpful the manager is lovely and she couldn't do enough for us I am a we came where they were doing some training with new candidates so we gave a bit of an allowance because it was nice to see training for the future, breakfast is not like the big restaurants where you got a selection of continental and fry ups, It was freshly made to order, there's also a little menu where you can order food not really a restaurant area maybe later on they will be opening up on the roof as that would be a great area and lovely views, with that option the pool is lovely and clean well maintained Although I must admit, I felt like I was in a kindergarten Hotel training school as all the staff looked so young and I'm only 56 lol I actually had two rooms both came with a fridge for better than a little cool box the aircon works a treat, up today on the door locks very secure electronic not keys, we were only staying 3 nights before I fly home but I look forward to next time I come and flying home again as very close to the airport we probably will stay again

I was extremely impressed by the service and how kind the people were. The room was great very soft bed but the lights were extremely dim especially in the bathroom. And the window was small so only a small amount of light came in. But it could just be my room, I’m not quite sure. But overall happy with the experience.

The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The room is nice. The place is near mrt sri bearing. walkable to mrt but I couldn't walk cuz there were so many dogs and I'm scared. Overall I like it besides at night I heard some sound above the ceiling. Which I'm not sure what might caused it.

Great staff that was really helpful for our first days in Thailand! They were very accommodating for my family. My three-year-old enjoyed having his own room (we booked two connectes rooms). Clean, nice and relaxed atmosphere. Food was fine. They happily organised trips and taxis for us!

sweet and helpful hostess who speaks good English, nice staff who were always on hand if you needed something, nice large room with wardrobe, comfortable bed, excellent small bathroom with jacuzzi, small balcony overlooking the swimming pool was too hot because of the outdoor fan for the air conditioning system, nice pool with seating all around both open and under the semi-roof, sun terrace on top of the semi-roof, daily cleaning and change of towels, everything was nice and clean

I chose a hotel in Bangkok for a long time and really liked this option, there were some difficulties with booking, but I did not give up, I felt that we needed this hotel and I was not mistaken, very clean and cozy rooms, a large salt water pool, a relaxation area where you can smoke and drink drinks, you can order food, (rice with chicken was very tasty), there is a Jacuzzi in the rooms and this is definitely a fat plus😅 unlike many other hotels, you can swim here even at 11 pm if the water is not drained in the pool, after a long walk around Bangkok, swimming in a cool pool is a separate kind of enjoyment, this hotel deserves 100 points, very cute and kind hosts, thank you for the warm welcome and care, we will definitely return!With love from your guests❤

It was clear that they took immense pride in their hotel and genuinely cared about the well-being of their guests.Whatever you need Sid and Sai both of the Hotel Manager's/Owner's will be there to give you assistance and find solutions with whatever you may need, as a a foreigner this is a big plus as TRUST is one of the most important key factor in traveling to foreign places and this place is definitely one that you can rely on. They personally interacted with the guests, taking the time to get to know us and ensure our needs were met. Their passion for creating a memorable experience was evident in every conversation. Really very friendly hosts. Good service and clean rooms. The highlight is the seawater pool and is unique in the area. All rooms are lovingly and individually designed. You can stay here for a short or longer time. Breakfast can be booked additionally.

This hotel/hostel accommodation is the real hidden gem in Bangkok! The Thongtara House took such good care of us on our recent company retreat to Thailand and they went out of their way to accommodate our every request and need. The rooms are fantastic and super clean, and each one was designed with a different motif. This was a big hit with our employees and we all had a blast looking at each other's rooms when we arrived. The hotel staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and fed us well during our whole stay. They even adjusted their menu's spice level to give us perfect meals we could all handle easily. The housekeeping staff was always smiling and they made sure all of our rooms were taken care of whenever we requested it. Thongtara House owners, Sid and Sai, were the true MVPs throughout our stay, as they both went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure all our plans carried out smoothly. They would check all the transportation arrangements we had made, and always offered affordable or more reliable alternatives whenever possible. When we wanted to try different dishes from other restaurants they helped us order each and every meal, so we wouldn't make any mistakes with the local language. They constantly suggested tons of great things to do in Bangkok and even gave us secret destinations that you would only know about if you lived there. We booked Thongtara house thinking it was the best Thailand hotel or Bangkok hostel to stay at, and they exceeded our every expectation and more! What a great experience... Thank you so much, Sid and Sai! Hope to stay at your beautiful Thongtara House again one day soon!
