The room furnishings seem to be from the 1990s, but the room itself is clean, so this is not the biggest minus of the room for us. The room has no window to the outside. The window is located in the bathroom with toilet, so in order for some daylight to enter the room, the toilet door must be open all the time. Due to the lack of light and the dark decor of the room, the atmosphere in the room is depressing. After two nights we changed hotel

Positive: The accommodation is located within the old area, around 75% of the city's attractions. There is a 7/11 5 minutes walk away. Although the description indicates that it does not have parking, it is possible to leave the car. The room is a good size.Negative: The photos that you can see are of the rooms the day they were opened, today, a few years later and after a lot of use, they urgently need a comprehensive renovation. The mattresses stick in the springs, The duvet on the double bed is smaller than the bed, something that doesn't make sense (we asked for a larger one and what they did was leave us another one of the same size). The duvets, under the cover that was clean, were very very dirty, the pillows (under the cover) were yellow from sweat and had a bad smell. The door to the room does not close properly at the bottom, leaving a large gap. The refrigerator made a lot of noise. The air conditioning needed a long time to cool the room properly. There was mold on the shower walls. The towels needed to be replaced with new ones. The sheets had holes, they needed to be replaced with new ones. In general the bed was not very comfortable due to the state of the mattress and the pillows with a bad smell.

We booked the hotel through Booking and were convinced by the rating and the pictures... unfortunately we realized that the pictures definitely needed an update. Okay for a short stay but in our opinion it doesn't deserve the good rating. We were very disappointed by the fact that a closet door was missing in our room, the furnishings were generally quite outdated and the bed linen underneath the cover was visibly dirty and did not meet our expectations. The location is very good for the old town of Chiang Mai and you can easily get everywhere on foot. For outside purposes, it's logical to take a taxi etc. The hotel staff spoke little or hardly any English and you have to know how to help yourself with your hands and feet. However, an early check-out was possible without any problems.

SCAMDO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!I booked through Agoda last minute, I get a message from the owner basically warning me about everything that is wrong with the place and even apologising to me if iv already paid! This then prompted me to immediately contact Agoda less than a hour after booking to cancel asapThey refunded my money but now a day later they’ve retaken the money and told me the host didn’t agree to the cancellation! SCAM!!!!

What a relief compared to the large lotus hotel. The 2 stars should actually be 3 anyway. Friendly helpful people, very neat bathroom and bedroom. No unnecessary luxury, but just right. Price very reasonable.

I plan to spend 700 baht per day for about a week and it is currently the 3rd day.In my experience, it seems to be the best managed place.Sink holes are cleaned every day and towels are changed upon request. First of all, the feedback is excellent. Above all, there is no air conditioner mold. I can't cough.It's quiet and there doesn't seem to be any noise between floors or between walls. However, if you talk in the lobby, you can hear it.And they don't seem to stop me from smoking in the lobby.Not good for non-smokers... However, other than the old room condition, it is a hotel that is faithful to the basics!Especially clean!Oh, it would be nice if there was a microwave on every floor.Difficult to go up and down. There is no elevator, but they helped us carry our suitcases when going up.

It’s a family own small apartment that now becomes an affordable hotel. The building is quite old and compact. However, you can see their affords keeping everything clean and ready. The stuffs are very helpful and friendly. There may be not many toiletries but you can always ask the front desk including hair dryer and stuffs. Cleanliness and friendly stuffs would be my impression about this place but if I travelled with children this place may be too small. Anyhow, it’s good for the price!
