Accidently we got a room, even though we had booked a bungalow. The room was nice and big,but almost abandoned. The curtains and the decoration very old and dusty, behind the bed and the furniture a lot of dirt, and generally I think they were not preparing the room for us..I don't know what happened, never asked, because we were lucky, the bungalow from the outside seemed much more old, dark, and never taken care of. The funny thing is that although a restaurant and a bar are mentioned to be running there (next to the reception), nothing never is served(only breakfast, but very limited things, not by far what's written in the "menu"-there is no restaurant so that could be a menu). The bathroom quite abandoned as well. Also the massage service and room was a playroom for the grand-daughter of the family-which was sweet. Actually we never saw other bookers than us. We saw a big thai family, having a lot of fun and meals together. Which was nice and they were very kind, but the whole atmosphere seemed a bit weird. The whole resort could be much more developped-it has the facilities ,but the family seems not to worry about the business..it runs how it runs, and whoever comes. We loved the location,in 3min walk you reach the very beginning of the long beach, with a lot of shade and thankfully is quiet,no restaurants and bars there. The owner of the resort is a funny and talkative guy, speaking some English, and offered to drop us with his car to our next accomondation in the opposite side of the island, with a reasonable price, and we loved talking with him! Also, 1' from the resort there is a local school and a beautiful white wat, where you can have a taste of the true thailand,no tourism and authentic vibe.
