Very friendly place, stayed here for a week with a friend, the beach is peaceful and the view is beautiful.Some good restaurants on the beach ahead and an amazing coffee place across the street with the best ShakshukaRented the bikes from Joy and they worked great all week, best way to see the island.Veronica and the staff will make you feel at home.Have fun

Everything was just perfect! We wish we could stay more. Location is very convenient in front of 7/11 and the bakery. The only disadvantage is the beach, which has low tide most of the time.

Rooms were very nice. We loved the terrace and the well equipped kitchen. Location is almost perfect , walikng distance to some of the best restaurants and bars in Koh Phangan, 7/11, fruit shop, and a money exchange. Yoga lessons were very nice. The gardening and the staff were perfect.

Beautiful, well-kept complex directly on Hin Kong Beach. The villas are well equipped and offer enough space for 2 people. The two pools are very clean and good for refreshing at any time of the day.There are some very good restaurants nearby, the daily breakfast at Indigo just opposite was great. The arrival on Saturday evening was problem-free, a taxi picked us up at the pier and everything was well prepared in the villa.The entire staff is extremely friendly. I would especially like to thank Nat and Veronica for their helpfulness and uncomplicated manner.It was a wonderful holiday and we will definitely come back.

We stayed for 4 nights and we had a good time! So overall I do recommend staying hereAdvantages:1. Friendly and communicative staff giving a warm welcome2. Clean and tidy with equipped kitchen very suitable for families3. Good location, 2 restaurants just across the road and even more on the beach a few minutes walking4. Nice small pool near the beach and the garden is looked afterDisadvantages:1. The sea is very shallow so the low tide is extreme, resulting that actually the sea doesn’t really exist at this area2. Overpriced, given the high price the value for money here is pretty low3. The term Villa can be confusing as it’s definitely not a Villa, more like a 2 room bungalow

Joy Villa was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I stayed in one of their villas for 6 nights in April.Staff: very helpful, friendly and attentive. We were very happy with everyone on the grounds. They are always working so hard to keep the place beautiful. Thank you.Villa: Amazing- wonderful view of the quiet Hin Kong beach, birds waking us up every morning, very relaxing. Clean, wardrobe to hang clothes. Nice decor.Amenities: Two pools made it great because it seems there were some families around with kids therefore you could choose a different pool if need be. There is a refillable water station which was so nice. A lovely cafe and Indian restaurant across the street- both very good. It was great having a full kitchen in the room to warm up left overs! Room was also very cool- the next A/C out of 4 hotels during our stay in Thailand.Location: a bit out of the way from some of the more pretty beaches (Salad, Secret Beach, Mae Head) but there is a big strip of cafes and bars on the beach which seem to have a lot going on every night. Very walkable, but I’d recommend setting up a scooter rental with the front desk to zing around the island.We would absolutely come back here! Thank you so much!!

This place feels like home! Highly recommend it to land into Koh Phangan in the best way possible, especially if you are with kids. Everyone who works there makes you feel so at ease and welcome. And most often you can easily chat with and get to know other guests, creating a bit of community feeling if that’s your thing.

Beautiful bungalows in a really nice complex. Hosts are very nice and the entire cleaning team is also very friendly.Rooms are very large and each has a kitchen.Accommodation extremely clean! Delicious restaurants in the immediate vicinity5 stars, would stay there again at any time

Our stay at Joy Beach Villas was amazing! We stayed at the beachfront villa and it was absolutely beautiful. The front terrace was very spacious with an amazing view of the ocean. All of the staff were beyond helpful and friendly, thank you so much for everything and we hope to see you again someday 😊🙏

Joy Villas are, simply put, a joy to stay in! We were made welcome from the moment we stepped into the villa gardens and were shown our very comfortable, spotless and well equipped villa. This is a little paradise on a tropical paradise island. For swimmers, there is an excellent pool and, at high water, one can swim from the beach.As ever, location is critical. Across the road from the main gate there are good restaurants (Chana Masala and Indigo are outstanding) and a very convenient 7-11 store. The Ananda Yoga and Detox Centre, with its excellent Shell Lounge cafe, is a short walk along the road towards Thong Sala. Ananda provides outstanding instruction and guidance - at very good value - for all levels of yogi. An absolute beginner would receive a most encouraging introduction to the discipline and fulfilment of yoga.

Can't really fault the place, besides two things. The pillows we had were uncomfortable (this is personal preference) and the wifi was extremely weak and dropped out all the time.Otherwise the property grounds were very well maintained and the staff were super friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Highly recommend the villa and we will definitely go back 🙂

Very nice guest, quiet and pleasant swimming pools, adorable staff. But be careful, Hinkong Beach is not a swimming beach...you will have to move to access pleasant beaches...otherwise well located 7/11 right opposite,...and many restaurants.
