A room with insects, noise from the road and the highlight - construction work from 6:30 am (doesn't seems like its about to be over soon). When we came to reception in the morning, they claimed that it was not their responsibility, and no compensation was offered.

The bed is not clean. There was sand in the blankets, the bed was hard, the shower flowed slowly. The bathroom door doesn't close completely. If the people who come with you are not close to each other, you may feel shy.

Very nice little facility to relax. The rooms/bungalows are as you need them and always clean. The service is great and help is provided immediately. Directly with a pool by the sea and always free loungers available in September. The sea is not deep here. Everything can be easily reached on foot in less than 10 minutes.

Haven’t stayed there; I go on weekends for the beach bar and pool—a beautiful atmosphere (picture perfect Thailand) and wonderfully convenient bar. One of the best kept secrets of Pha-ngan

Very cosy and lovely resort right in front of the beach. Spent 7 nights here. Nicely decorated cottages and a big outside pool let you feel very comfortable here - especially when the weather isn't the best as we had a lot of wind and also some rain during the stay. The staff is very kind and help you with everything you need.Just some minor critics to mention:-We had lots of mosquitoes (german: keine Gelsen, sondern kleine Mücken) in the room. They were harmless and didn't attack you, but there were so many, that we didn't feel comfortable at all times. I think it had something to do with the sewerage, because we smelled it a little bit in the bathroom.-The roof of the "Coco" cottages is not isolated. So when it is windy, you feel like sleeping in a tent, because the wind is going through the roof. Once, after there was a rainshower, the room was dirty, because of the straw that came of the roof. I complaint about that at the reception and they offered me another room, but I rejected and just insisted that it would be cleaned, what they did immediately.-They charge you 200 Baht (2 persons) for picking/bringing you to the pier. That was free of charge in all other hotels we stayed in during three weeks in Thailand. As you just walk around 10min from the pier to the hotel, I recommend spending the money on some good food! ;)-Restaurant is a little bit pricey for Thailand conditionsNevertheless we had a wonderful time here and I would definitely book it again, but only if there is a "Lime" or a "Soda" cottage available. I liked the form of the "Coco's" as it is a homage to the italian trulli, but they need to fix the roof...

This beach resort has a beautiful outdoor area! As soon as you enter the hotel you are greeted by a lush outdoor space surrounded by palm trees and sand to walk on. I loved that!Since you can‘t really swim in the ocean, as the water is too shallow, i appreciated the pool. Although it was a bit small, it was still enjoyable to relax and get into the water to refresh.The food from the restaurant was good, but more on the expensive side compared to prices on the island.Staff was very nice and kind to me!Good location: You‘re in walking distance from various restaurants, the Food court and seven-11. Can also rent a scooter in the same street as hotel.My room was nice overall, clean sheets & towels, functioning aircon and enough space.Complaints i do have though are:-Mosquitos somehow kept getting into my room which was annoying. I‘m guessing they got in through the entrance door, as there was a visible gap when fully closed.-The shower wasn‘t designed well. While showering the bathroom floor would get totally wet as the protective glass, which should keep the water in the shower, was on the other side of where the shower head was, so water just kept pouring onto the bathroom floor.-My aircon kept putting out some loud, annoying noise. It sounded like a generator directly behind the bedroom wall, which was on 80% of the time while the aircon was on.Have to mention the taxi transfer service aswell. Days before checking in, the hotel contacted me asking if i‘d like a transfer (think it was 200 baht) from the pier to the hotel. I booked the transfer and communicated all relevant information to the hotel. (departure & arrival time, ferry operator)Well, when i arrived at the pier everyone was picked up except for me. Half an hour later my transfer still wasn‘t there and i was the last person on the pier. I contacted the hotel and asked where the driver was… they said they‘ll call him. Shortly after he arrived, but i was mildly annoyed that the pre-booked transfer didn‘t work smoothly.To sum things up:Positives:-Beautiful beach resort with lush, relaxing outdoor area.-Swimming Pool-Good food and drinks (although expensive)-Friendly staff-Good location in close proximity to restaurants, Food court & Seven-11Negatives:-Transfer service-Rooms should be made mosquito proof, so they can‘t get in through the door.-Minor issues with my room (shower & aircon noise)Overall i‘d recommend this resort to other travellers as i had a very nice time to relax here.

Really a beautiful and well-maintained facility. The bungalows are all nice and quiet.The staff is more than accommodating and super friendly. The owner Andy gave us lots of good tips on things to do and places to visit. We all visited these places and were really impressed. Even if you needed a taxi or just a tip for a good scooter rental, we got great tips.The food in the hotel restaurant tastes really good and the Thai dishes in particular were very authentic. In terms of price, everything was more than reasonable and absolutely not expensive. The breakfast was also very tasty and lovingly prepared.The pool with direct beach access and views of the clear water were also a highlight.There are also variousEmployment options, such as a table tennis table, volleyball court or pool table. The sports bar with several sports broadcasts was also great.You can easily reach the small and beautiful town on foot and you can also easily walk to the walking street or the ferry pier.You don't notice anything about the kite school next door except that there might be two or three kites on the beach in the morning before the course starts. Absolutely not a problem for us.We will definitely come back.

We recently stayed at Lime N Soda Beach Resort for 8 nights and loved our stay. Here are some highlights:1st accommodation: We had the Soda1 bungalow in the 2nd row to the beach. Opposite was the pool and bar. Just right to enjoy a little atmosphere in the evening without being disturbed. The bungalow was very spacious and had enough space for everything.2. New condition: The entire facility was newly renovated and well maintained. Everything looked new, which made the stay very pleasant.3. Laundry service: Our laundry (4kg) was washed and returned the same day for only 60 baht per kilogram. Very practical and reliable!4. Breakfast: The breakfast was served à la carte and was of high quality and very tasty. A perfect start to the day.5. Ambiance: The facility itself was beautifully designed, with lots of bamboo and fountains, creating a relaxing atmosphere.6. Leisure activities: There were many leisure options, such as billiards (20 baht), table tennis (free) and a volleyball court. There was definitely no boredom here.7. Service: The team was extremely helpful and accommodating. Even the manager always had an open ear for the guests.8. Beach: The beach in front of the resort was quiet and perfect for relaxing.9. Proximity to the food court: What was particularly important to us was the proximity to the food court, which could be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. There is a large selection of delicious food here.We felt very comfortable and almost at home at the Lime N Soda Beach Resort. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful, well-kept facility. Rooms are very modern and clean, beds are comfortable and it has everything else you need.The attached restaurant is delicious, but expensive.Unfortunately the pool is very small. This is a crucial point as you cannot swim on the beach due to the low tide.
