Pro: views from the river are outstanding, beautiful "puddle" at the shared area... 'and budget friendly.Cons: The private room was dirty, better not to talk abou smells like sh... Mosquito repellent is mandatory.Otherwise the host was helpful and let me check in very late.Try your luck and maybe we (guests) make it a real hide gem 💎

For the amount I paid, can only give 3 out of 10 because the same amount i can get a room with Air-con and bathrooms attached, a TV and fridge but view here is fantastic, over looking Chao Praya river. Lots of mosquitoes, but have mosquitoes net. Location not easy to locate unless very good at Google map and sense of direction.

The cheapest in Bangkok,There is a common space with a view right in front of the river.Good accommodation for backpackersI stayed in a dormitoryWhen I first saw it, it looked like a thatched-roof house and I thought...It's cleaner than it looks (of course, I'm not talking about hotel-level cleanliness. This is cleanliness without bed bugs. You can think of this place as nature).No bugs (lots of mosquitoes)It’s a cute place with natural visuals.It's friendly and I like itThe dormitory has mosquito nets on each bed, so it has a curtain effect.They even give you big towels.I only used the dishes occasionally, but I think I can use the kitchen too.employee? president? This is very friendly.Good for walking to KhaosanThe water in the middle is drawn from the river and is often changed(?). There was a bit of a smell on the first day, but after receiving the water, there was no more smell.Recommended for budget backpackers

Evaluation:My brother and I were looking for a place to stay right on the river when we arrived in Bangkok. Despite the rain in the evening, we found this cheap "secret place" really impressive for Bangkok. To get there, you should walk to the river, then turn left onto the side street where there is already a sign pointing to the property. Go left at the end of the side street and turn right again at the first turning. Then follow a right and a left bend and go straight towards a brown gate - and you're there.The rooms are simply decorated and there are 3 shared bathrooms. What makes this place special is the family atmosphere and, above all, the unique view of the river. We originally planned to stay for 3 days, but due to our remote work, we extended our stay to 10 days. This wonderful place is well suited for digital nomads.During the day we were able to observe two birds sunning themselves in the small pond in front of the accommodation. A small downside, however, is that cleanliness is difficult to maintain due to the garbage washed up from the river.If you want to stay near the river in Bangkok and a slightly firmer bed isn't a problem for you, you'll feel comfortable here just for the view and the 15-minute walk to Khao San Road.

Great river view. From terrace, not from your room. We spent a night in some place without windows. No light and lots of sound through thin walls. Shared bathroom is old and dirty. Only if your budget is extremely tight.

The owner was very kind and helpfull, always asking if i was doing okay. Owner is a good hardworking guy, i had a great stay for 2weeks, great river view!,was very clean, hot water, very secure, and felt comfortable in the area. Lots nearby and neighbors are friendly, so atleast say hi to them in their language! Everything you need is a walk away! And great price for rooms!

A rather nice hostel, very relaxed, pleasant to hang out on the terrace by the river. The location is good, a little out of the way but not too far from the boats for walking. Go check out the Blues bar on Samsen Road after 8:30 p.m., there are great concerts and it's very close!
